  1. Past hour
  2. Neither was Abel Tarabat but Warnock made him captain
  3. Until he leaves and doesn't say he doesn't want to.play he should be available for selection tho I understand your points you are making for sure. It was my team. We dont have another right wing/sided attacking midfielder player. Should have another by now.
  4. Just to come back to this (I’ve a bee in my bonnet!) In my opinion, the head coach’s bonuses (and KPIs) should be linked only to results on the pitch. Was any explanation offered as to why the club believes otherwise?
  5. You were pointing out some peoples initial opinions could be wrong. I’m just pointing out sometimes those opinions are proven correct. Also, who wrote him off? The comment was on his game last night, and if that poster thought he looked awful then what is he meant to do. Lie and say he was ok?
  6. If your writing off a player after 2 games then football isn’t for you
  7. Club is rotten to the core so Big club can have the win for all I care, this isn't Blackburn Rovers
  8. So that the right thing to do then? Writing players off after their 2nd game, having literally just walked through the door? Gotcha.
  9. I only used Shefki as a yardstick to say that Gueye wasn't going to score many for us. Both big strapping lads but not the best footballers, they both have larger than life personalities so easy to warm to them but if you need goals - well neither would be my first port of call. We defo need a striker or we're dead in the water, that's my point. If you have warm memories of Sheki then great but apart from his goal celebrations I have little else to get misty eyed over. Apart of the fact we were in the Prem then obs!
  10. Also, same people writing off Henriksson are the same people who wrote off Telalovic when he first came.
  11. I'm in the unfortunate position whereby my daughter has split with her hardcore Rovers supporting partner and the almost 16 year old twins support Manure now. When I go, that's my lifetime support meaningless 😢
  12. Depends if Palace lose Geuhi and Eze which looks likely and maybe Mateta aswell then if I was Wharton I'd be looking to move this summer they will struggle if they lose those players
  13. Of course, there are always many factors and context. And stats are never the whole story. But I don't think there is much difference between the 2, but for me Shefki is better.
  14. The 2017 side was a lot better than this..just hope theres three worse sides
  15. I can see the fans turning on him (low hanging fruit). The problem is above him and he knows it. He'll continue picking up his wages for as long as he can. Another grifter.
  16. How many more signings do we need Chaddy? How many do you think we will get?
  17. id`e 100% rather have kuqi than mahkter, the swan diving finn is 3 times the player
  18. Gueye: Hedges, Tronstad, Dolan Shefki: Bellamy, Tugay, Pedersen
  19. Gueye: 6 in 45 league games. Shefki: 7 in 34 league games (Premier)
  20. Well last year we had more. So perhaps you answer first, did we have too many last season?
  21. The fight started going out of the club as a whole the day the Chicken Chokers walked through the door.
  22. Today
  23. That was when we were in the Prem, completely different kettle of fish. And it was 7 in 33 actually. When Kuqi had been in the Championship the season before with Ipswich, he bagged 19 in 43.
  24. Wharton will stay at Palace this season. It’s the best environment for him for now, a move now would only add pressure. He knows that as he’s got his head screwed on. He’ll star at the World Cup and will be able to name his team after that. The lad is a different level, every top club in Europe will want him next summer.
  25. Same guy put in one of the best crosses I ever saw. Right on MGP’s foot from 40 yards away against Fulham.
