  1. Past hour
  2. Well aware of that, but that was during the international break & had no bearing on him being available for Rovers or not. The U17 tournament will impact his availability (not that he is ready for anything more than a cameo role in the first team squad anyway) https://www.englandfootball.com/articles/2025/Oct/12/england-mens-under-18s-v-france-match-report-20251210
  3. WATR won't be telling the club anything. The diplomatic approach is a thing of the past. The survey is about how the members want the Trust to represent their interests during the current dire situation the club finds itself in and what course of action members would like to the Trust to follow. The survey is available to ex members also. I don't know if you are in either category ? There will be a WATR 'drop in' session at the Fox and Hounds before the match on Saturday ( from 1pm ) where members and the wider fan base can join in discussions. All welcome.
  4. That's a forthcoming tournament with presumably a different qualifying date of birth for participants. If you go on to the FA's website you will see that he was playing for the England Under 18s against France a few days ago.
  5. Absolutely should boycott or do a reading. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67899988
  6. Well, we knew the arrogant twat was sending the club into the season with a squad not up to standard of Championship football..
  7. As someone who’s now part of the ‘Not A Penny More’ camp, The Coalition should be calling the nearly empty stadium what it is- a boycott. Plenty of people are boycotting, like myself, but it’s just never been called that. Any banners inside the stadium should just say, ‘Venky’s- Sell the Club.’ … and if you want to get their attention, an Indian social media campaign, simply saying, ‘Venky’s- Sell the Club!’ is the best route. None of it has to be offensive. It just needs to be to the point.
  8. He is in the shop window to be sold via the England under 17’s.
  9. Today
  10. Completely agree. Don’t always agree with his player selection but his decision to go with two strikers I have seen as a positive. But last night for example, at 1-1 he takes off a striker. At 1-2, he takes off another? His substitutions are a cluster bomb and defy logic. I felt last night his substitutions were bizarre. All six goals conceded this month have been scored in the second half. Opposition managers adapt to win the game. VI doesn’t have that ability, hence why he’s never succeeded at this level.
  11. Gestede seemingly has put everything into bringing in the right type of player “profile” - and anyone desperate enough to join the “project” (while clearing out anyone with Championship experience). I can’t see him sacking VI; that would be too much for the arrogant twat.
  12. The discussion probably went something like : We can't afford to replace him. Any further business ?
  13. The only ray of hope is, if they've come to a decision not to remove him at the moment - at least it might have been discussed in the first place.
  14. The simple solution to the Rovers not removing VI, is to remove yourself.
  15. Whilst there are 9000 season ticket holders, the club will always be able to claim at least 11,000 crowds, even if not all season ticket holders turn up.
  16. I actually think there were about 5k on last night in the home sections.
  17. Got an email from Rovers thanking me for joining them and asking how my experience was at the Sheffield United game last night. I’m a season ticket holder but didn’t attend. So my experience was great, didn’t have to watch those doughnuts get beat again.
  18. Yep, in the PL days we'd get 20k home fans vs United. Now it's more like 10k. That's 50% of the fanbase who've left. That's shocking tbqh. A lot of it is a quiet boycott, myself included. Rovers fans need to get serious. It may be difficult to achieve but get home crowds really down closer to 5k. Stop buying merch and food like Wednesday are doing. The fanbase, I'm sorry to say, have been a soft touch and we need a serious plan to safeguard the future of our club. Protests, boycotts, hit them in their pockets, media. A multi pronged move on the ownership.
  19. Sadly feel like the Derby game is our best platform. Stay on concourse til 18mins and leave the stands at 75th minute
  20. AI driven stuff has dreadful inaccuracies in it in everyday stuff across the media yet this generation is pinning all its hopes on it across the board. Utterly ridiculous but no surprise this club is going all in on it if it thinks it can save a few pennies. Whilst costing itself millions in the long run.
  21. A few fanzines actually sneaked out into the wild last night. There's a cheeky link HERE if you're keen to order the "150th" Anniversary Special before proper publicising starts...
