  1. Past hour
  2. Elliott Jackson mentioned in his article this morning about managing the minutes of Carter and Wharton
  3. Thanks for that, rang the ticket office when it opened and they put me right in line with your advice above. They said having problem with automatic updating with IPhones, a bit of a problem when vast majority will have IPhones, could be chaos ! That is an hour and a half that I won’t get back 😂
  4. I’ll be setting off shortly. Let’s hope the pitch holds up. That’s a bit of a worry about Carter. I can’t see it being anything other than a fitness issue, you wouldn’t drop him to play Miller under normal circumstances.
  5. Whilst the Watford win provides a little bit more hope for the season, had a touch of the 'Hull feel' to it - think both Hull and Watford in for long hard seasons with more managerial changes to come. Sadly for Rovers, think Ipswich are about to really hit their straps after their impressive demolition of SU and can't see beyond an Ipswich win. Think my decent punt on Ipswich at 21/20 will provide some consolation come tonight.
  6. Getting into Fort Knox now appears easier than an entry to Ewood!
  7. It was raining all afternoon, during the Norwich game, and we gave a poor performance. Let's hope there's no repeats today.
  8. Tbf i know nothing about river levels it was a total guess😂 Hopefully it's ok as we're setting off soon and have a none refundable hotel room
  9. Today
  10. Go into your Apple wallet, open the season ticket pass. Open little circle in top RH corner with 3 dots in it. Touch Notifications and then close automatic updates, then open it. Your e-ticket should update to the Ipswich game.

  12. Kind of unrelated to that actual story, though.
  13. Also on the Portsmouth game is hammered it down the day/night before the game too.
  14. Comment in LT that River level is high now.
  15. I think it's only a problem when the water level of the river is too high Surely it won't be at the moment
  16. Fair play great work any supporters at the game today hope you get some goals for your efforts 2-1 rovers
  17. Anyone know of its reliable to get the number 1 bus up from Darwen to Ewood around 2.30 for the game? Wife has the car today... I guess could be risky with crowds/traffic? (Also how can the train line be so close to ewood but the two nearest stops are an hour walk in one direction and 40 mins in the other??)
  18. The forecast is that it is quite moderate for most of the day, but then starts hammering it down during the game. I agree the game should probably go ahead as there wont be enough time for it to build up.
  19. I think we might just get away with it because it was a nice day yesterday. I've just been out in it and whilst it's persistent, it's not exactly hammering it down with torrential rain. It would be rather embarrassing if we couldn't cope with this unless it gets a lot worse out there.
  20. I’ve now spent a further 45 minutes and got a little further and managed to actually get to the E-ticket but it won’t download to my Apple wallet by Safari, Edge, Google Chrome or Duck Duck Go. Just glad I kept the plastic card 😮‍💨
  21. It's not very heavy rain. We've played in worse
  22. No doubt they will still water the pitch before kick off
  23. True. And I'm guessing nothing has changed, and looking at the forecast for the day that will no doubt be a problem today?
  24. We had a game called off last season ( or season before) for this exact reason...Was it Portsmouth?
  25. It probably doesn't matter if they do or don't cover the pitch, if the water cannot drain away. I believe in the past the postponements have been caused by the water backing up due to its inability to drain into the river.
