  1. Past hour
  2. He’s lost every game so far though, so it’s obviously not going well, regardless.
  3. Mercer does come out with plenty of embarassing predictions but I dont see how predicting us to go down is that controversial. Its not difficult to comprehend why we might be one of the favourites to fall. Also, I really dont see what influence McKenna had. The pitch was unplayable regardless of whether he said anything and historically an abandoned game is started from scratch, whether thats fair or not is a seperate argument but the decision expectedly followed that precedent. But even if he did argue for that, we would do the same in that position. Hardly something to become bitter iver.
  4. Any Barnsley fans who are critical of him can only possibly be bitter that he left. The season he had there was excellent, a huge overachievement sandwiched by a 21st and 24th place finish at this level, with League 1 campaigns either side. Also, if hes nearing Kean levels for you then you cant possibly have been following the club when he was here. A ridiculous statement. And im not a fan of his, I dont rate him and I would prefer that he wasnt our manager.
  5. Feel the same, got a decent point against a stoke side but there’s something about him, I’m not a fan of, Probably due to him being “Rudy’s mate”
  6. Looks like we have a title race on but the 3 favourites haven't been great form and all had some wobbles in the first 7 games
  7. They didnt play suicidal football since he went there. Played 5 at the back today and that's was second time there. During his time at Spurs he played it once
  8. Another one of yours famous tipping points. You should on the show and join Ben Shepherd on there. I've lost count how many these predictions you done now and how many come true? None I deffo blame him for his huge part in that decision Embarrassing
  9. I wish I could sit here with 100% certainty that Rovers wont suffer any points deduction this season - sadly, with our ownership and executive management, I can't. Heckingbottom might not be everyone's cup of tea but as a Championship manager he knows both the game and how to organize a side. Think Coventry and Ipswich are straight up. Coventry now have the all important confidence and momentum. Ipswich have a very good manager in McKenna and after the inevitable team changes following their PL relegation they are now getting results (think it's11 points from last 5 games) - win their game in hand against Rovers and they would be third. I do not blame McKenna one iota for what happened with our abandoned game - would have expected Ismael to do the same (it's our owners and executive management to blame for not resolving the longstanding feckin drainage issues). Middlesbrough and Leicester to take two of the play-off places with the other two places wide open (why not PNE?). For the drop - Owls, Rovers and very likely Oxford.
  10. There is no point kidding ourselves. We are in serious trouble this year. We have lost and not replaced four or five solid Championship players, we lack structure, physicality, pace and creativity. And most importantly, leaders. We struggle to score and not concede. We look weak in all departments. I always worry when we are getting turned over at home. I dont think we've got the heart for what lies ahead.
  11. Today
  12. We never fucking beat these, even when it feels more “even” a match up, which it most certainly doesn’t feel like now. Not sure how I’d set up, but I’d probably look at what Wednesday and QPR did, and not do that. Dreading this one. Mind you, Boro were winning+scoring for fun last season and we went up there and got a win. Who knows.
  13. I think I'm similar. I went with a Coventry supporting friend and sat in their end (sorry all) as they scored in the 98th was it after we led all game
  14. Who would buy Blackburn Rovers? Let's not take inspiration from the opposition, flying high on and off the pitch with savvy commercials and rebuying previously sold club assets!
  15. The centre half comes flying out of defence with the ball. Nobody fills in for him. He over plays his hand and loses the ball. Ipswich transfer the ball into the space he’s just left and it’s game over. The sort of thing we do.
  16. OK seriously what we doing, another Sheff Wednesday protest/pitch invasion this weekend they aren't letting up bless them. We've gone back to no venky chants or anything at all 🙁
  17. it`s definately not normal in this club😅 you just don`t know what pasha and his pet poodle gestede are up to,tbh i think venkys are punishing us by not selling because of the snowball incident, they`ve put pasha in charge as a kamikaze ceo to stop us progressing,we`ve been near the top six enough but they destroy the momentum every time, they definately don`t want us in the premier league, they are letting us wither and die i think
  18. It just shows the impunity. They knew it was the anniversary year, when they conducted the unforgiveable, kamikaze transfer window...
  19. Barnsley fans say the same. He also doesn't like passing through midfield. Anyway he lay his bed he can lie in it, one of the worst managers I've seen - he's nearing Kean levels for me.
  20. A few days late but my favourite one so far: No no dear, she’s kicked the BOUQUET! RIP Dame Patricia Routledge
  21. Changing leagues always requires a change of playing staff. There's only one profession that benefits from that. If we were a club run by agents (we're not of course) then things would begin to make sense. Agents won't have the money to buy a club outright, if it were legal they'd need rich friends to do the doing. This isn't the case at our club, thank goodness. People with such baseless speculation would be fantasising next about money laundering via transfer dealings. Grow up! Everythings normal here. Move on.
  22. I don't think we will be relegated.
  23. The deliberately engineered relegation is my view. I felt the same in 2012-13, when every decision looked fashioned to deliver that very outcome. I felt the same in the Coyle season, but it was as if there was a change of plan later on. ..Another kind of fresh start! What I don't understand is why, who gains and how... The powers that be have obviously decided they can get away with it, that any protests will be limp etc.. I think the stuff with the LT just shows how unfit Gestede and Suhail are. They should not be anywhere near this club. But , in the end, even these horrible sores are mere symptoms of our toxic, Indian disease.
  24. Probably should get easily beaten but this is the Championship where any result is possible at any time. I was really heartened to see how hard the team fought second half against Stoke. Made me a bit more positive.
  25. Forest went from Nuno, who had a system built on a solid defence and being happy for your opponents to have the ball, to Ange and his often suicidal football. Little wonder the players look confused out there.
  26. Forest have an owner who is a complete control freak and interferes relentlessly, ours don’t give a damn, and never show up to watch their team. Something in between is about right.
