  1. Past hour
  2. It’s that run in after Easter I don’t like the look of. I know this league pulls out unexpected results, which we have really highlighted this year, but I can’t help thinking we are squandering the fixtures in which I expect us to garner points.
  3. I’ve always believed it to be because the watch isn’t stopped for every single stoppage in play. Therefore the 45+? Or 90+? Are really after the final attacking threat when time is reached.
  4. As long as they don't take noisy neighbours space!
  5. Have you seen the chances Ohashi has missed this season? Relegate him to the bench.
  6. Rovers 2 - 2 Hull is my prediction. No idea why, just have a feeling that Rovers will manage a point, despite what the form table says. Maybe I'm pinning all my hopes on Gudjohnsen being back and him picking up where he left off before the injury. Ismael has a really big call to make on what system is used if Gudjohnsen is back. If he starts, then for me it's either this: Toth Alebiosu Miller McLoughlin Cashin Tronstad Forshaw Jorgensen Cantwell Morishita Gudjohnsen Or this: Toth Miller O'Riordan McLoughlin Alebiosu Tronstad Forshaw Morishita Cantwell Jorgensen Gudjohnsen Ohashi simply needs benching. The lad is clearly knackered and his form is abysmal, so time for a break. I much prefer Gudjohnsen with a strike partner, but I worry about that LWB spot.
  7. He didn't, he said not prepared to pay the "going rate" for Championship players, which I took as fees. Take your point though, fair comment.
  8. Today
  9. I was thinking maybe it will take more points than average. With Sheffield Wednesday barely competitive and compared to recent years, not the same level of dominance at the very top, there are more points to be shared around.
  10. Very much so. I nearly posted "Unfortunately I doubt this will be another fairy tale Souness type solution". We got extremely lucky with that.
  11. We'll be lucky if we get to 40 points with this bloke!
  12. We're absolutely not beating these lot. They're 3rd in the form table, 4th in the league, have won 5 of their last 6 away from home (as @JHRover points out above). Players coming back or not, we're still a shocking squad with an incredibly poor manager. I can see us taking an absolute humping here. 0-3, a load of excuses and a call for calm as we still have 17 games and 51 points to play for)
  13. Indeed, I thought it was utterly bizarre that we went back to a back 4 and they still couldn't get in, we would rather play Cashin out of position. Feels like both their times are up as long as Val is here.
  14. Obviously he wasn't nearly as shit (*), but I always thought that Souness was teetering on the verge of the sack when Newcastle paid us compensation to take him to the North East * Souness was great for us in the most part but did seem to be self destructing and falling out with everyone just before he left
  15. It’s great isn’t it. I watched the game also, that’s Hearts side is inspirational and for a club in turmoil not that long ago, it’s gives us hope of change once the rats sod off. Im at Ibrox several times from here on in, but even I have a piece of me that wants Hearts to win it.
  16. Our noisy neighbours are 10 points behind the drop zone line with Forest and West Ham both winning. The Fat Lady is getting dressed I think.
  17. Why step forward and deal with the Chicken Chokers when there are dozens of other clubs with less intransigent owners ?
  18. 1.1 point per game extrapolated over a 46 game season is 50.6
  19. so going off that its highly unlikely we will hit the 50 benchmark
  20. I dont think 50 points will be needed to stay up this season, which is a good job because we aren't getting there with this bloke.
  21. Those negative runs should be stapled to his P45 Fuck him off packing already Rudy, oh wait - that means your fragile ego gets a bruise
  22. Al Green - Let’s Stay Together
  23. The winner was a great strike by Cunha.
  24. Excellent post. There’s plenty of fair debate on here, and the narrative that opposite views aren’t tolerated is nonsense. I can’t help thinking there’s a few posters on here in the last 24 hours desperate for some personal namecalling or an OTT rebuke so they can run back over the road and cry how nasty we are.
  25. Whenever these two play it has been a nightmare for the home side in recent seasons. Incredibly Hull will be playing us with very realistic expectations of challenging for an automatic promotion spot. All I can see are the biggest thugs in our division.. We have gone 210 minutes without letting a goal in against the Tigers- another 100 minutes or so of clean sheet would be very welcome.
  26. Hopefully Leicester use the same data metrics that we do which all apparently showed Ismael to be by far "the outstanding candidate". Get shut of the useless twonk and 2.5 years compo on top. If Carlsberg did approaches..............
