He is certainly there at the moment but that is not uncommon. -

Maybe Ismael went against Pasha's instructions out of necessity. Pasha is away in India. I still think Pickering is on the list of departures in January -

THIS! exactly! Actually championship players instead of de neve or Tavares Why freeze Pickering out ? and then why suddenly play him? it’s a contradiction by VI he hasn’t been injured so what’s that all about and why now suddenly play him im glad he is back but I’m confused to why he froze him out -

The one great thing about our club they haven’t ruined (yet) is our academy is still producing good players who are proud to play for the club -
We showed in this test that we could play Test cricket. All we have to do now is to do it for 5 days. Oh and learn to catch.

It’s certainly worth getting it out there, as it can’t do any harm bringing this to the attention of anyone prepared to listen. Maybe the coalition can add a sub text to the recent press release. -

To be fair even Waggott n Suhail have said previously if someone has the money and can show funds and deposit the bond to start due diligence then they are all ears. However both claim to date no one has demonstrated this. Their interest in rovers is pretty much zero, bar putting in the capped £20m -
Crazy old league the championship. If we'd not conceded 2x ridiculous last kick equalisers in 4 days and had a pitch that was playable, we'd be sitting 3 points off the playoffs

He just wanted the Dingles further adrift in the relegation zone..

It's not that I dont believe Glen here, but I just don't believe the information you have been told that they will sell "without hesitation". If that was true I'm sure someone would have tested them by now. They will be here for another decade unfortunately, where we will be as a club who knows. -

If this guy and his firm are struck off, does that mean there is any chance of further investigation into his past dealings with other parties over the years (Meaning his involvement with Venkys and Rovers)? -

https://www.lawgazette.co.uk/news/top-sports-lawyer-and-his-firm-shut-down-over-dishonesty-suspicions/5125091.article Venkys and Jerome Andersons lawyer. Incidently also the source of many a leak out of rovers. Handled the Derek Shaw /Berg court case fiasco and gave the Action Group all comms, that sports PR company and the other rovers solicitor tried to threaten us over. Handled a lot of business, contracts, NDAs too -
The half term (ish report) - links should be to each players stats on Transfermarkt (you will have to take my word/memory for it below 6th tier) Connor O'Riordan until last week had played almost every minute in the league (3rd tier). Doncasters (& O'Riordans) August was great, but they have won 1 league game since the first week in September, whilst he will almost certainly be recalled, he is not the answer in defence and will be back up to Miller (Carter too if he ever gets fit) Leo Duru has hardly featured is the MLS, but he was named in what looks to be a retained list for San Diego, so anticipate him staying until June at least and possibly having his move made permanent as one for the future Charlie Olson has not featured in the 4th tier, did sit on the bench for a while, played in some cup games Harley O'Grady-Macken has not played a minute in the 4th tier Jack Barrett has sat on the bench in the league (4th tier), played in the cups, has not pulled up trees James Edmondson is a fixture in Macclesfield's side (6th tier), scored a cracker in the FA Cup. would not be surprised (partially due to cost cutting) for him to be back up to Tronstads replacement next season George Pratt did well in the 6th tier before being recalled and is now a regular for Rovers Harrison Wood starts every game for a team who sit 3rd place in the 7th tier, has scored a couple Patrik Farkas hardly featured in the 7th tier Joe Boggan started 1 game, made another fleeting appearance off the bench in the 7th tier, then disappeared completely until his loan ended Blake Wolsoncroft filled in for an injured keeper for 1 game in the 7th tier Jayden Sergeant apparently did well in his month in the 8th tier, started most games, scored, No sure we have too many who can be classed as having done wonderfully in the first half of the season. In terms of minutes played, O'Riordan, Edmondson, Pratt & Wood have done ok, but Doncaster/O'Riordans form has fallen off a cliff since very early September and they now sit second bottom of League 1. Are/were the other 3 playing a level below their ability? Of the rest, the only one who could be considered anything like a success would be Sergeants month in the 8th tier, where he seemed to impress, did start a few, scored, and looked dangerous, which for a 17/18 year old is not to be sniffed at

The State of Ewood Park!
... replied to A Northern Horde...'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Jack's area needs soft washing, as does the Riverside with a lick of paint. Upper jack walker stairwell to block W11w has a leak which is subsequently rotting the paint off leaving that manky popcorn effect on the beams and all down the walls. Weeds all around the grounds, fan zones need jet washing/soft washing. The timeline needs addressing and putting back up. The top of the stand steel beams needs another paint. From a far just looks grotty. The seats in the stands need replacing or reglazing they are becoming light faded. Some of those is a maintenance issue however if budgets have been cut ie jet washer has broken and not been replaces, or no longer have a maintenance contract to a firm Spraying pesticides/herbicides the owners should know. A football club needs CEOs/Owners on the shop floor. You're creating an image and a brand. The small things go a long way in business. -

Great win and a huge lift before Christmas, Pratt excellent again and nice for Matty, Tom and Nathan for the debuts. Millwall were third before the kickoff. I think the Academy players has contributed alot this season. Says it all about the small squad but I'm more of giving our young players the chance that. Other teams. -
Well that’s that. A bit of fight this time but the damage was done in the pathetic showing in the first 2 Tests Jamie Smith must be the epitome of the Bazball philosophy. Bashes the ball around like he’s playing in a one dayer then inevitably gives his wicket away. Does he realise it’s ok in test cricket to be circumspect for a while and not every ball has to be lashed to the boundary? McCullum,s a busted flush. Look forward to his resignation

If anyone said anything wrong about Rovers when I was at school aged 7 it usually ended in a fight. We were shit and in the third division but they are my home town club and I have always loved the underdog. if only I could have met up with the Liverpool, Leeds, Man U and Chelsea fans amongst us in 1995 some 23 years later, that would have been something. -

How many years did we have hard-working, non scoring center forwards and sat here wishing we had a bloke who'd just stick it in the net? We finally have one and there's complaints about the rest of his game? Said it before, but a player in this division who is the complete package doesn’t stay here for very long. Gudjohnsen is a very good player at this level. -

Massively premature take, as I think it's the first time I've ever seen them kick a ball, but Litherland reminded me of JRC today. -

Great win that today and fully deserved. I see Litherland played and did OK, looks like word is getting back to the management. -
Complete mismatch to have Adam trying to mark Calvert Lewin it's the job of a centre half.
-
It's important they go on loan in non-league for a month to play no games and toughen up! That will surely aid their development.

Wharton did some great work to create the chance for Palace's penalty goal today against Leeds. However, he was also involved the other way at three set-piece goals conceded by Palace. To me, it looks like he was marking Calvert-Lewin for both his goals and then relieved of that duty, arguably didn't do enough to try to stop a knock down on the edge of the box that Ampadou seized on. I would say the first conceded goal was the biggest mistake, the other two were harder for him to defend. Nonetheless, I do think it highlights some defensive frailties in a clearly wonderful player. It reinforces to me that he is not (yet) the defensive midfielder some present him as and, arguably, Glasner, was at fault for putting him on duty on Calvert-Lewin at set-pieces in the first place.
