I imagine this particular leak has come from Hyams camp, as it paints the club (rightly) in a bad light The previous leaks about him being close to a deal, will have been the leaks from the club Leaks from the club side are always "we offered them a good deal" or "believe we are close to an agreement" etc, or "he wanted to move to be closer to his nan" not "we offered him one extra year on what was in effect a wage decrease in the hope that he couldn't be arsed moving house"

Beck as well don't forget. if Hyam goes that would be an entire back line gone. Beck, Hyam, Batth, Brittain. If Travis and Tronstad go, that would be the midfield gone. Plus Dolan and Weimann,who was a useful squad member. Potentially eight. You can only put it down to deliberate sabotage either because Eustace and Co did a bit too well last season and it was a bit too close for comfort or purely on cost saving grounds or most likely a bit of both.

Hate everything the club currently is. They're slowly but surely removing the players that formed an extremely together group of players that despite some limitations, fought for each other and had us punching around the playoffs. By the end of this window, we look likely to have lost Batth, Weimann, Dolan, Brittain and Travis...with the possibility of Hyam and Tronstad to follow as well given they're probably not signing new deals either. That's basically the core of the team from last season. What are we left with: A bunch of mostly ill equipped strangers with not enough championship experience between them, nor an understanding of what the club means to the fans....oh and don't forget Gueye - the comic relief. Where are the leaders going to come from?? I suspect I already know the answer - they're not coming. This isn't a Rovers team anymore, which suitably reflects how this isn't the football club we once knew. How anyone could possibly put a positive spin on the situation beggars belief.

What is the update on Suhail? A lot of half rumours saying he's under serious pressure. We need him gone ASAP!

Yeah it's basically a 12 month contract which i'm sure a player at his stage of career is delighted about. Said it before though all this is being done on purpose they know full well the situations they are creating.

The full stories we get now regarding players only being offered contract extensions on the same terms can only come from the players. They’re telling us now what’s happening at the club.

So exactly the structure Blackpool in 2009 had. Only with inflation, meaning it’s about half in real terms.

The fact that (per the LT) we’ve offered Hyam a 2 year deal at the same pay as his current one shows the juvenile thought process of the club. The guy played just about every minute for us last season and we expect him to take seriously an extension that values him the same as when he hasn’t kicked a ball in blue and whites yet. If that offer is true it’s disrespectful, to him to even put it on the table. No wonder neither he or the others have signed extensions.
