2025 Summer Transfer Thread. ๐
Tomphil2 replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Duru's mam is from Phili and he is eligible to play for the US so perhaps it's something that was always on the cards. No doubt the new regime was only too happy to oblige him in finding something out there. -

Fair enough, the club is a shambles but my primative tribal self seeing former kids who haven't made it giving it large about "making it out" of the former premier league champions is thinking... Get to fuck you entitled prick, football owes you NOTHING. -
He would have had two assists in 2 games if Palace had a striker that could finish

RoverCanada replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Travis is the obvious / already rumoured suspension, but can maybe imagine Pears... depending on insurance/contract stipulations, it can't have gone down well if he's unable to play (or be sold!) due to rumoured (voluntary...) cosmetic surgery... That allrovers account suggesting Crystal Palace is after one of our u21s, who apparently isn't keen to leave. Twitter randos suggesting it's either O'Grady-Macken or Isaac Dunn. A 'promising' young forward is also being threatened with banishment to the u21s if he doesn't go out on loan. Can guess that's Leonard. Sounds odd. Can usually guess there are financial motives with this regime, but perhaps Leonard is refusing to agree to a loan thinking he should be in our first team picture. While I'm at it with chasing silly rumours (work procrastination babyyyyy), Tom Bloxham (still unattached) commented "Made it out *heart eyes emoji*" on Duru's Insta post about his move to San Diego. (Further insta creeping: Duru went to Ibiza with Georgie Gent and Bloxham this past summer, oooo) Huh. Dan Diego's the same pseudonym I use when I procure prostitutes.. -

Donโt know that I agree with the lack of assists. Itโs not always the final pass/cross that makes a goal but thatโs who gets the credit for the โassistโ

Don't worry. You can still watch the game on Rovers TV! Kick off still be shown as 3 pm. Jobsworths. -
Adam Wharton
Tim Southampton Rover replied to Atko's Engine's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
On paper, Whartonโs only shortfall is the lack of goals and assists - the kind of numbers that inflate transfer fees to dizzying height (that I hope a large figure will come our way). But on the pitch, Palace and any club with sense will gladly take his class and composure over flashy figures because he will only get better with more experience in the Premier League, Europe, and hopefully England (if TT actually calls him up!). -

Is that type of player we want โnot as good as the ones that have leftโ? If so, you have a point. -
Not really a protest idea but one to annoy the powers at Rovers, I suggest a slight tweak to the recent Tommy Robinson chant - to confirm Iโm not backing the recent chants Iโm simply trying put a positive twist on it Oh Harry Harry, Harry Harry Harry Pickering Oh Harry Harry, Harry Harry Harry Pickering

Busquets like? I agree and, perhaps, therefore, the Spanish league would be ideal. Watching Palace highlights against Chelsea, Wharton seemed to be getting forward and even running a little with the ball. Possibly a sign of what Palace want from him.

Videos of the chants are on social media and were getting some attention, no issue with the club calling it out personally. -

He would fit in nicely, if we could sign, Ian Bishop, Christian Erikson, Ian Saint John, Chris Priest (Look him up, quite famous), Nick Pope, Julien Le Cardinal (One for Gestede) Angel Rodriguez, and Alfie Devine. -
You'd be surprised. Bars are regularly busy at 5am in Los Angeles for Prem games. I don't know if Wrexham and Brum have the same pull as the big boys though. I've not met a new found Wrexham fan yet, but loads have people watched their documentary. Birmingham have even less exposure even with Tom Brady trying his best to publicise them.
