  1. Past hour
  2. I’m Season ticket holder since 82 - one of the mugs that bought a ST in covid - I’m going to boycott this Saturday. Along with my 83 yr old Father who has supported Rovers since he was 7. Club’s dead unless we do something.
  3. Looking at Derby tonight find it hard to see why to he are only evens against Sheffield Wednesday and 3/1 to win by more than 1 goal
  4. I expect it be gradual, some bought tickets, but my season tickets will stay at home and i wont be attending
  5. So, all out from this Saturday’s match ? Normally I would be there but I’m prepared to miss for the greater good. I hope that other ST holders feel likewise.
  6. I can’t blame anyone for trying but I too fear anyone interested in taking part in a boycott to get rid of this lot is already doing so.
  7. Today
  8. Bet the lads and lasses in Adelaide and La Paz can't wait to settle down to watch Hull and Rovers slog it out. The magic of the Cup... Can anyone remember / does anyone know if the FA Cup ties are officially audio broadcast by Rovers? Don't have TNT and not in Lancs...
  9. They most likely will finish ahead of us but currently they are 5 points ahead of us he Is hardly completely wrong yet
  10. only 1 change FFS. Tongue for Atkinson. We have backed Bashir for 3 years and said he would be number 1 spinner in the ashes, now not playing. I would have drop Pope for Bashir and Potts for Carse
  11. This depends how a “phased, strategic boycott” is going to work (as it’s worded on X). You will get a number of people prepared to miss one game. You will not get them prepared to miss several. You may get people to stop spending on the concourse for certain games etc… but not consistently. And the minute this appears to fails you almost give the club a mandate to carry on as is.
  12. Well done. Professional, to the point and putting across the exact message that needs to be put across. Unfortunately I think those willing to boycott are basically already unofficially doing so, even if they aren't calling it boycotting, but it's right to put the call out anyway. There's a difference between valuing the club as a whole and only valuing being a supporter of a club.
  13. Have the main press been notified and willing to pick it up and publish?
  14. Being versatile in a pub league sadly doesn't transfer into the toughest league in Europe. He's so out of his depth at LWB here he needs armbands.
  15. Prefab Sprout - Doo Wap In Harlem
  16. Ill hold my hands up at the end of the season if Im wrong.
  17. Interesting interview with Lyle Taylor on Under the Cosh, skip forward to 50mins. Talking about their Belgian owner, to paraphrase: "It was easier to sell a League One club than it was to sell a Championship club, because he didn't to want to blow the wages up. He didn't want to pay big money. I'm (the owner) going to keep this on a League One budget." We can all but dream...
  18. “ His primary position is a winger – a number seven or 11 – but he is able to be flexible and can also play as a wing-back and a full-back.” says Val “No he can’t”, says me.
  19. Stick a large vegetable up the “significant investment”.
  20. yep Although A predominantly left-sided player, with the flexibility to operate anywhere down the flank as well as in more advanced attacking areas, De Neve adds pace, athleticism, energy and versatility to the Rovers ranks. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/june/10/rovers-conclude-dion-deal/ I suppose he has operated anywhere down the left, just not very well
