  1. Past hour
  2. Agreed. The club I grew up supporting ended in 2010. This is just a 15 year anniversary of venky rovers nothing more than that.
  3. We will find out in time to come, if anyone ever bothers asking Dolan, that what is reported and claimed in the media and what actually happens at Rovers' end are two very different things. As I keep pointing out - it is free and easy to put it out in the twittersphere or feed tid bits to Jackson/Bayes that the club are working hard, trying everything, making offers. That costs nothing and in return you get lots of fans swallowing it as the truth and believing a certain version of things. All the evidence in terms of what actually happens however shows that the club's approach - not just with Dolan but with pretty much every senior player going back 5 years - is failing and nobody should overlook that or forget it. Already I am seeing too much of a focus on Dolan and his supposed desire to play in the PL as though this is the issue and it is his desire to play at a higher level that is the issue here. I call BS on that, the issue here is that Rovers have failed to sort out an appropriate extension in a timely manner, just like they have with everyone else and the excuses will follow in time to come with those as well.
  4. Believe me, that is not an ITK account.
  5. Prior to Waggott's stint we didn't have a CEO or Chairman for 7 years. These awful owners have never seen any need for one, and I believe only agreed to bring Waggott in after Mowbray pushed hard for it and they were persuaded that it would pay for itself by way of cost cuts. Now we are in a new era of Venky cutbacks I'd say all the signs point towards another period of having no CEO and basically the staff down there 'making do'. Of course at a normal functioning organisation they would have prepared for Waggott's departure and have got someone new lined up ready to start work now whilst the demands and responsibilities of matchdays aren't there. I'm sure it won't be long before some people are saying that these are all reasons why we should have kept Waggott and 'be careful what you wish for' because the alternative to him is likely to be worse. I'm personally past that point - all I wish for is an end to this ownership regime and nothing less will do.

  7. Back down South now, feet up and counting the Millions in the Piggy Bank. Easy.

  10. Yesterday
  11. Fucking hell, must be a very, very slow day in Nixon’s world. 😴 I’m Rovers daft and I couldn’t give a shit. I’d hate to read the ‘stories’ he decided not to publish.
  12. Yes, another Club goofed once so that makes our disasters OK! Typical.
  13. try copying and pasting url into the below: https://12ft.io
  14. I can't navigate past the "Subscribe to the Athletic" banner.
  15. Sorry. Seven is decent imo. Think Hedges has scored seven in four seasons at the Club. That's probably the sort of standard that will be coming in to replace Dolan.

  19. yes, last minute i think, dad would`nt take six year old me to the match, stating it would be to busy and full in the blackburn end,he went with his mates and i ended up going bloody shopping with my mum and sister😠
  20. Lost ALL my Rovers stuff in our house fire. Went to Roverstore looking for hi.e shirt, 2 ir 3 x ( wifes cooking not McDonalds) But all they had was kids and babies. Going to a St Louis game on me birthday and wanted to show me colours. Anyone know where I can get one within 2 weeks shipped to America.
  21. If it helps, I think it was on Match of the Day that night. Was the equaliser an Allan Evans og from a Brotherston corner? Don't think I'd seen Ewood as full before
  22. Well, if there was thought there was any free money to be had, Waggott would probably have been in on it. Didn't someone once say the great master plan of him and Fraser Reid was to allow the Riverside to fall into disrepair in the hope it would be condemned and we could then claim a grant towards rebuilding it? This season, we're heading people into it!
  23. Someone get it all into ChatGPT and make it summarise it based on Indian law. Thats the clearest way to work out exactly what’s going on.
  24. Ironically, the good news is we have very little of them to sell. What would Brittain, Carter and Trav raise? £5m? A Wharton sell on fee too. Then what? Their time up is coming. It’s just another case of how long is the piece of string.
