  1. Past hour
  2. I think we will beat Wednesday. They haven't scored in about 8 games, haven't kept a clean sheet since 29th December (I know, I know), have lost their talisman and are generally just shot to shit. Anything other than 3 points is an absolutely catatstrophic result. It's probably come about two weeks too early this, if the rumours of VI being on dodgy ground are in any way true. A win (no matter how lowly the opponent) would give him at least until the end of Feb, by which time it will probably be too late for any new manager to come in and save us.
  3. If there was an option it would 100% be the latter. Unfortunately I think he's got very lucky that we play these next, and that we'll beat them fairly comfortably and he will be here for another 15 games.
  4. We won't beat Wednesday we're absolutely toilet
  5. Whilst I agree and wouldn't be enamoured by his signing, I also think it's quite damning that we are incapable of putting a reasonable offer together to a team in the same league where everyone is for sale. Our recruitment team seems so amateur on every level and it shows in the squad.
  6. Rovers 0-1 Wednesday Cadamarteri with the goal.
  7. Venky's haven't plunged us to our lowest depth just yet. I actually think we'll lose this 0-1.
  8. Will he been loaned with an option to buy at the ned of the season instead? Just to give an extra layer of excuses as to why no money was spent 😉
  9. What would people choose? Beat Wednesday and he stays or fail to win and he goes? I’d pick the latter.
  10. Interesting stat on Kieran McKenna's twitter page - this weekend's average attendance in the Championship was 22,120. 40 years ago it was 5,984. So average crowds in the second tier have quadrupled since the 1980s Bad news for those who for some unknown reason want to insist that Rovers are just returning to the old days/natural level etc.
  11. I watch that youtube before I work out some times, swear to God I end up lifting more because of it. That and the one of Glenn Keeley getting sent off against Portsmouth with Chinny Hill having an epi banging on about peace in Europe.
  12. £20 on Alebiosu leaving pleaseate
  13. You'd think they would learn wouldn't you
  14. Bilic Averages 1.49 ppg in this league, we could do a lot worse
  15. With Barry Bannon gone this should be an easier game but……
  16. Bloody hell mate, how much Ringnes ale have you had?
  17. Heard this lad Travis at Derby might be worth a punt. Maybe we should take a punt with an offer. Oh wait ...
  18. I don't see why he would leave to not have what would (hopefully) be a more fruitful season in League 1. I would hope he has a relegation wage clause in his contract but if/when he takes us down his rep at this level in England is shot to pieces. He'll stay until he's pushed, I think.
  19. Nobody seemed to want Cadamateri so lets not pretend it's a big deal if he doesn't come. Offers nothing more than what we have imo. Only thing worse than not signing anyone is signing more of the same you don't really need in an act of desperation to make it look like you are doing something.
  20. Is anybody on here old enough to have seen Willie Kelly play for Rovers? He was an old man when I knew him, he used to come into my local for a pint and a game of snooker. All the other fellas used to say he was the toughest player they ever saw. His nickname was “Iron Man Kelly”.
  21. Im guessing that Ismael has his pre match press conference today so we can find out then that there will be no striker coming in.
  22. Can I put my mortgage on a double please?
  23. Maybe old Tone will stay in the shadows until summer then come in for the big league 1 reset.
  24. The Cadamateri deal was off as soon as other clubs became interested. No player joins us if they have other options.
