  1. Past hour
  2. You and RF99 have had back and forth for years. You always disagree on nearly everything but you spend a lot of time talking with each other. You both spend more time talking to each other than anyone else. You're basically frenemies. Anyway, I'm saying all of this to ask you - why has your tone to RF99 become more hostile and rude recently? I mean, you have become moreso in general to be perfectly honest, but I'm really curious why you seem to have changed from respectfully disagreeing with him to acting like he's an idiot. He is in no way an idiot btw. He also doesn't seem to be aggressive towards you, his comments are pretty much always measured. (This isn't because of this post in particular btw, you've been much ruder to him in others)
  3. This is the point. You don't need a flex ticket option if season tickets are priced well.
  4. Isn't that classed as a professional foul and given a yellow card? In theory of course....
  5. It isnt using critical thinking to just assume that every thing that happens is exactly as planned. You have fabricated that argument that I dont want the young players to come through. I will reiterate that I would have both Tyjon and Montgomery as part of the first team squad. (Although I would want their contracts to be sorted before the window closes) I also havent said that I want a new keeper. If both got injured then I think we could sign a senior goalkeeper anyway, might be wrong but think you can get an emergency one on a short term loan. But unlikely to be needed. The stuff about Boggan is really stretching it. If he had even the slightest intention of using him then he would have been involved in the first team picture in pre season. I stand by what I said, that we wanted 6 or 7 BEFORE Weimann and Batth left, and when Gestede spoke, he also said we need a right winger to replace ACD "as we only have Dolan." If we only sign 2 or 3 more, I dont think the squad will be as big as they had planned Its not an immense criticism to suggest that a club might not fill every intended vacancy in the squad that it had planned. Last summer, we were desperately scrambling around for another winger on deadline day and one fell through so we didnt get everything we wanted then either.
  6. So if Brittain goes you’ll be happy to come back here and say you were wrong then Chaddy? You’ll have no issue admitting that you judged that one completely wrong. I’ll be the first to say I was wrong if the tables are turned and he’s here at the end of the window. I just can’t see it happening.
  7. It's a problem Lancs have faced for years too - that Old Trafford pitch just doesn't deteriorate. It's too hard.
  8. Its 3 players FFS, grow up man. I have add Michalski to be third choice and when asked if he isn't third keeper who will be you yet again ignored the question, probably cos you don't a feck clue. I added Tyjon and Montgomery to the squad cos both have potential and talent, something I believe in is bringing through young players into our first team, you clearly don't despite your claims. we need an extra centre given Carter's injury and we can't push Wharton too much . right sided attacking midfielder is a priority. like I said previously maybe Ismael knew that Batth and Weimann were re-signing here something your critical thinking clearly haven't thought about here and can't see fathom that out. we have 24 players in the first team squad already something else you can't fathom. Well if Ismael is happy with that plus with the other options he has in Leonard and Boggan. Maybe he is planning on bringing Boggan through during the season. ever thought off that?
  9. It has to be broken off by the club. The fans can't be responsible for that but when it happens, and I can see a day when it does, we'll have them on the ropes.
  10. The Velvet Underground - Sunday Morning
  11. Ah OK- that would make more sense. Strange thing to post.
  12. Today
  13. I'd be really surprised if Brittain was still here by the end of the window. Bit of posturing going on at the moment re price but I think we know what'll happen, he'll go late on in the window and as likely as not we won't get a replacement.
  14. I took it as a wind up, not a chance did that happen.
  15. brilliant from Luke Littler and I hope he wins tomorrow night
  16. Easy yellow card for me.
  17. Post round one grind on the range, dialing things in and getting set for tomorrow! Gerald’s repping the current Blackburn Rovers jersey 🔵⚪️ Tomorrow we’re bringing more birdies, more smiles, and the latest Rovers kit, which you can catch on Hole 17, the party hole! Let’s get loud, Rovers fans! ⚽🔥 #UpTheRovers #HV3 #LIVGolf #BlackburnRovers
  18. @London blue has summed it up well. You just add names and then say we have x number of players and dont judge on quality. You have always done it. In the past adding the likes of Markanday, Telalovic, Garrett and always a few random young players to bloat it out. If you genuinely believed in your list then surely we only need a right winger, why do we even need 3? You also say that every single manager is honest and straight talking. You can't fathom that any manager might not get what he wants. Its not even specific to Rovers, im sure very few managers end transfer windows 100% totally satisfied. Im employing some critical thinking. They said 6 or 7 before Weimann and Batth left. In fact, Gestede said right wing because "ACD is leaving and we only have Dolan in that position" so you can add him too. Also, the requirement for a centre back also is an additional one because Carter has got injured again. So in my opinion, if we only get 2 or 3 more, we have not signed enough players to build up the squad as big as what was initially planned. You cant fathom that. No way could that happen in your head, it must be going exactly as planned. My comments about not signing a striker were in reference to comments about Ismael deciding that Ohashi and Gueye will suffice up front. Gestede said that we did want some more competition there so IF we dont sign a striker, then it doesnt suggest alignment or something has changed. Maybe a striker is within the 2 or 3.
  19. Yes Brittain certainly played for us yesterday but I haven't seen any confirmation he flew back with the main party today that would negate the rumours flying around that he came back on an earlier flight. I think it's certain Brittain will leave and if he has a choice, I think it will be Derby over Middlesbrough.
  20. Brittain ain't going to Derby. He played for us yesterday, flew back with Rovers players and management. So stop with this BS Mercer it's boring and why I ignored your posts nowadays sadly
  21. That's not strictly true.the men's team went behind in all 3 knock out games and went on to win mostly in the dying minutes. Unless your talking about women's football in general
  22. Palulu looks a good player, similar style to the Beradji lad we were close to signing, though a different position. Like others have said, seems a level above us at least though he does only have a year left on so contract. Interesting read on his international career where he was called up by Angola but withdrew for health reasons, then switched alliance to DR Congo, got a call up and withdrew due to injury. Apparently cleared his insta account of all things Jagiellona suggesting a move is imminent or he's upset with them
  23. I don't think Rovers have spent any money this window. Sale of Schaper and JRC would bring in about £1.75m. Fees for Alebiosu, De Neve, McLaughlin and Tavares would be no more than £1.75m up front plus fairytale 'add ons' for when we win the PL etc With Brittain heading to rejoin Eustace's Rovers renunion party at Derby for £2.5/3m, we are quids in. If you believe the fantasy figures quoted for our signings then I'd look out in your garden tonight for the fairies!
