  4. The irony also that the League and other clubs bent over backwards in recent years to accommodate Coventry's off the pitch issues including dragging teams and supporters all over the place to Northampton, Birmingham, Burton, etc. to play games all to make sure they could fulfil their fixtures and now they are settled down and stable are going about ripping off rival clubs fans like this. Of course the EFL should intervene and take a hard line stance in the same way they should have been expelled from the League for not having a suitable stadium available but expect nothing to be done. Absolutely ridiculous of course that there is a £30 cap in the PL yet nothing lower down the divisions.
  5. Agreed…just let the club keep issuing minutes to cover their backsides but don’t attend the meetings…show it up for what it is
  6. I was actually thinking of the first half at Coventry.
  7. @Salgados Hair would disagree 😉 Be persistent in the bottom right hand corner 👍
  8. Little update with Sunderland sitting 4th in the League. Xhaka and his midfield partner have run further than any other players: And on an overall player ratings website he's in the Top 10 for the Premier League: Kyle Walker is number 193 on that list. P.S. Your Bournemouth prediction is looking a bit flimsy too. 😉
  9. The irony is that if they get promoted they won't be able to charge as much. Many genuine fans have a tipping point and this would take them closer to it.
  10. Both work hard, but I suspect centre halves prefer playing against Ohashi a lot more than they did with Dickov. Ohashi doesn't have that nasty, competitive streak.
  11. Some side that for the second tier, no wonder it went on to win a cup.
  12. A couple of those names are before my time but I would kill to have half of those back here. Craig Short alone has more bollocks than our current squad combined and quadrupled.
  13. If true that they are once again manipulating the minutes to provide a false impression / narrative then it really is time for the Forum to stop attending. Funny how the word 'misinformation' seems to have been invented and used with regularity in the modern era yet usually it is the other way around - when the public read things that aren't true / accurate and are given a false impression of things. Here however we have gangsters holding the club hostage who are manipulating the information released to the public from the only channel that remains open. It is all a waste of time. They don't want to communicate and are only doing this because they have to. If they can't even be trusted to release accurate minutes afterwards there's no point to anyone of this. Best off just nobody turn up and write to the wider fanbase and Football League to explain why.
  14. Doesn't what the situation was. Its was comfortable win that day. Like any game at this level, anyone can beat anyone
  15. Swag was a piss poor CEO, however he was a canny fecker who’d been around the game a long time and knew how to manage ‘stakeholders’. Look at the state of it now, Gest-hail don’t even have the basics. It ‘can’t can always get worse’ here.
  16. Just think back to the 125, doesn’t remotely feel like the same football club.
  17. Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax
  18. Why is Matt Derbyshire playing? Get the 94/95 squad back, or as many as we can from the 125 year anniversary: Blackburn: Friedel, Curtis, Bjornebye, Carsley, Short, Berg, Johnson, Hignett, M. Hughes, Dunn, Jansen. Subs: McAteer, Filan, Ostenstad, Dailly, Thomas.
  19. Sorry, you are right. Although that feels like a long time ago and crucially we had Hyam in the team and Hull's squad had been struck down by illness. Either way, there seems very little to suggest that we will go to Leicester and win comfortably.
  20. I had a feeling this would happen. Announce 1 or 2 legends early on then struggle to find the rest of the team and rely on whoever is in Dunny's phone book. The whole day looks like a complete shambles, 2 games in 1 day on a pitch that has had 2 games called off recently, a 'legends team' with players from our League 1 campaign, a game against Eton despite no link to 150 league years at all, less than 2 weeks and no kit announced. The organisation of this pretty much sums up Rovers these days. Staff clearly too busy with shadow twitter accounts, allegedly.
  21. Maybe too much of overall in forward areas. Centre back not strengthen and not a big enough squad there
  22. You forget, there's very little special about Rovers at the moment. It was a decent fightback against Southampton, and I hope the momentum continues against Leicester.
  23. The Hollywood Flames - Buzz-Buzz-Buzz
  24. The White Swan is one of our very favourite places to eat K-Hod, in a competitive market these days. Fabulous cooking and a very relaxed atmosphere.
