Presty On Tour Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 I'm a bit confused. Haven't read thru the whole of this thread but would appreciate if someone can answer this question: If I go to the stadium tonight straight from work, will I be able to purchase a ticket at the stadium? official stance is no but I gather this isn't true? If I can buy on today, is there a chance away tickets will be completely sold out by 6:30pm (time I reckon I can get into watford)? Thanks folks. apparently tickets will be available on the gate buddy

Martin Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 As Rovers fans this fixture has to send a shiver up your spine. We have smashed Wigan, Everton and Man City on their own patches. So a Watford team with one win all season spells trouble! It will be cold, ugly and probably right up Watford's street. I'm worried - I think I'd take a draw; it keeps us moving along. Scoreline: 0-0 or 1-0 either way.
Presty On Tour Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 ssn are saying that the todd and the axe are fit for watford tonight.
CAPT KAYOS Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 the axe are fit for watford tonight. And that's the worry
Jim J Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 is it on tv anywhere? Its on some of those foreign channels that we aren't allowed to watch
gazsimm Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 2-0 Rovers fingers crossed, we are due a win in London Emerton in for Ooijer and Derbyshire in for Nonda only changes i can predict
Exiled_Rover Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 The dirtiest team in the league against the cleanest, apparently. Not sure what relevance that'll have on the 1-0 loss we're going to be on the end of mind.
promoted2001 Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Dunn will need at least a month to get into Hughes uber fit mode, as did Henchoz. Warnock should only be half a month. I wouldn't expect to see a start for either of them until Late February, early March.
Darwen_Blue Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 I've just been down to the ticket office and I saw 2 fraiser eagle coaches set off for Watford.
Eddie Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Would go to this but I sadly can't get anyone else interested in tagging along. Hopefully we'll have another good night in the chat room then.
CAPT KAYOS Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 ok probably put the kibosh on it but I have had a bet on us to win in a couple of lines - inc a double with Luton

They're doing Chelsea v Wycombe. And 5 Live Sports Xtra isn't broadcasting. And BBC GLR have Luton v QPR.

Nayef Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Do I get off at Watford High St or take the tube all the way to Watford station? Decisions!
AlamoRover Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Stateside the match is delayed on Setanta at 8pm CST.
Presty On Tour Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 interesting thoughts from hughes before the match. he must read the message board Blackburn boss Mark Hughes: "Watford are a wounded animal and are difficult to break down. They have great perseverance. "Our performances away from home have been excellent, but we have experience of going to teams at the wrong end of the table and coming a cropper. "We don't want that to happen again. We are in better shape for this game than we were against Charlton and West Ham."
