Finch Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 This may be what Arsenal felt when we held them to a draw in the cup game last week. I still think we can do it with the number of chances we are getting.
Blueboy Downunder Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 this getting beyond a joke now!!!! come on rovers, (Please don't use that word again)in mug em, right now!!
James No. 7 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 This may be what Arsenal felt when we held them to a draw in the cup game last week. They weren't about to go out of the competition, though. Time's ticking...
James No. 7 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 This is a joke and a half. Shennanigans.
Finch Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 its strange hearing commentary biased in our favour. They are willing us to score.
Oakland Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Nonda! oh my God this is (Please don't use that word again)ing ######!
tony gale's mic Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 we're out but i'm proud of the lads. MGP was absolutely immense and we go out with our heads held high. leverkusen are a disgusting team.
AlanK Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Never been too sure how much I care about this tournament but tonight I am effing distraught. How I wanted to hear a full Ewood roar again.
Finch Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I just cant believe how many chances we missed. Esp in the 2nd half. We have paid for being so rubbish in the 1st leg.
G Somerset Rover Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Gutted-the defending in the 1st leg has cost us. Big Brad looks so distraught and agrees that we were just too poor first leg.
Mr. E Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I'm on the verge of tears here. Football hasn't broken my heart in a long time like this... can't fault the players though, heroic effort, they did us proud...
Blueboy Downunder Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 i can't find it but where is that thread about referees, and the decisions that they do and do not give, having a direct effect on the game?? if there was any uefa/fifa officials at the game tonight, then this is a prime example that referees have to be held accountable for dismal performances!!
Derbyshire Blue Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Distraught....Thanks those previous magic moments lads….its been very enjoyable
tchocky Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Fuming. Why not just play football the last 5 mins rather than hoof it up to their defense? We didn't let ourselves down in this game. We go out with our pride intact, but sadly this is probably as good as it gets with this bunch.. Without a Benni in form we are going to struggle for goals. Good thing we won't be playing against Bayer Ultradefensivekusen every week. Most games we will have a few more free kicks outside the opposition pernalty area?
Finch Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Never been too sure how much I care about this tournament but tonight I am effing distraught. How I wanted to hear a full Ewood roar again. Full marks to the Ewood crowd who also did us proud for the noise and commitment they showed.
squaylor Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I was off the sofa for Nonda sliding in on 93mins, I thought that was it. Wow. If only the atmosphere could be like that every week.
Guest shoppybrfc Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 no doubt Nonda will be made the scapegoat, he caused more problems then derbyshire did the whole game though. benni also hasnt scored for a number of games now, anyone know the number of games hes gone now without scoring?
