Waggy Got a feeling the form needs to be filled in by everyone. There's also a box for you to complete giving name and address details of the non season ticket holder you will be buying the ticket for. However, there's only room on there to fill in one person's details so not too sure what you need to do if buying 2,3,4 or more!! Cheers
Roost Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 going for my tickets sunday,if you go in person do you need to fill in a form,i am buying extra tickets for none season ticket holders. Come on Gaz....as you keep saying to me - 'this is Rovers we are talking about - its not going to be straight forward' You going tomorrow by the way?
only2garners Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Now that is class!! Are you gonna paint it blue and white for the occasion? What's the parking like round OT?! Would be great to see some pics of your journey to the SF! It's dark blue with a bit of cream decoration, so close. We're having it repainted in May and my son did suggest a nice blue and white halves makeover but my wife drew the line at that! Parking's ace - you can moor for nowt within about 50 yards of the away end, although I probably will have chauffeur service with my wife cruising out to drop me off from Castlefield where we will be on Saturday night. Whilst you can moor more or less anywhere along a canal towpath leaving a boat for a couple of hours around somewhere like Old Trafford is probably not advisable.
only2garners Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 going for my tickets sunday,if you go in person do you need to fill in a form,i am buying extra tickets for none season ticket holders. You could probably wait and fill the forms in at the window but it will slow you down and annoy everyone behind you in the queue - easier to fill them in while you're queueing.
Paul Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Just got 4 in the second row of the middle tier of the £25 zone. Very pleased. TO report sales have been very steady all day and thewy have alot of people registering interest for the Sunday release and the Tuesday non-ST release.
Derby Blue Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Phoned the ticket office earlier in the week and asked about the forms. I am applying for phase 3 for 6 tickets. She said I only had to fill in 1 form with my details on, and for the number of tickets I require. This goes against everything that has been said previously about the FA needing to know who is sitting where. Didn't take the risk and filled in 6 forms but only one with payment details and ticket requests. Unusually for the ticket office she didn't really sound like she knew what was happening. Maybe they have brought a few temps in to help out and not briefed properly.
den Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Very frustrating today, I drove past the ground several times and there was absolutely no-one about! Have to wait until phase 2 on Sunday for a group of us to get 4-6 tickets by which time there'll probably be queues a mile long. A total guess here, but I envisage rovers selling 14000 tickets. Sending 16000 back. Any objections to that estimate?
Modi Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 . This goes against everything that has been said previously about the FA needing to know who is sitting where. I think the point is there needs to be a record of who bought the tickets rather than who is meant to be sat in each and every seat. If there is trouble, it'll be the person who bought the tickets who kops it.
blue phil Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 A total guess here, but I envisage rovers selling 14000 tickets. Sending 16000 back. Any objections to that estimate? We'll sell a good 25,000 I reckon ......defo more than the paltry figure you mention , Den Hopefully ....
1864roverite Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Den I think for Cardiff we took 16000 for a 12pm kick off and sure to God Rovers support can reach the 25k mark for a "local" semi final. I would be seriously disappointed if we couldnt shift 25k tickets for such a huge game.
Modi Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 A total guess here, but I envisage rovers selling 14000 tickets. Sending 16000 back. Any objections to that estimate? As BP and 1864 say, 25k is more likely the figure. It was bad enough at Cardiff vs Arse getting up at 0900 when actually in the city. (Then again I was going to be interviewed by BBC Wales alongside Nigel Winterburn ) If we take 14k it'll be terrible. 20k is the minimum 'acceptable'.
RevidgeBlue Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 A total guess here, but I envisage rovers selling 14000 tickets. Sending 16000 back. Any objections to that estimate? I would hope we'll shift around 25k. The one thing that might kill it is the limited number of concessions in the 25 quid area only which I think is bloody disgraceful but of course nothing to do with Rovers.

ihateburnley Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I'm slightly confused by the ticket policy for this game. Basically the situation is that my brother is a season ticket holder but I am not. We both want to go and sit together. Can we get tickets tomorrow (Saturday) or do we have to wait till Phase 2 on Sunday? It was my understanding that is was the latter, but some people have been saying they have been buying 6, 10, 20 etc??? Or are all these season-ticket holder tickets?

It's even worse when you have to get up at 0900 just to listen to you and Nigel Winterburn!!!!!!!!!
berkshireblue Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Phase 2 with 3 extra tickets with 3 season tickets... i reckon 25k easily for this and Chelsea wqont shift more
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 14,000?.....give over Den! Sunday for you IHB.
Hughesy Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Got my tickets on thursday at about 9.05 - in the £25 area! Cant understand how the best tickets are the cheapest! Hopefully Sunday and monday will be very busy days at ewood, followed by the general sale which many others are waiting for!!

From what I've read on the official site you are right, Sunday is your first chance.
Paul Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Cant understand how the best tickets are the cheapest! Not sure these are the best seats. From the times I've been I think the £45 seats in the mid-tier between the North and East stands give the best view. Sat there for the England Spain game and it was excellent. Having said that we've £25 seats based on price and concessionss Seating plan and click to see actual view
Hasta Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I've sent a postal application early last week with cheque. Now I've got that anxious wait wondering 'have they actually received it'? I've gone for £45 tickets so would expect to get the seats I want as I expect they'll be quite unpopular early on
trs Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Has anyone received their tickets yet after booking online?
wisweller Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Has anyone received their tickets yet after booking online? I spoke to the ticket office this morning they confirmed my postal application for 5 £25 tickets( 3 concessions )had been allocated and will be posted out from Tuesday 3rd April by recorded delivery.
