Quack Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 3-0 to Rovers, opening the trap door for Charlton, sorry Charlton fans, I always enjoy trips to the Valley and like your club but I absolutely detest Mr Pardew - smugness personified.
BRFC4EVA Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Gonna be a close game imo, purely due to Charlton's desperation for points. Hopefully the pressure will get to them and we snatch an early goal, that might make all the difference. Think it might be curtains for Charlton, I see a wigan and Sheff u win with of course a Rovers win leaving the bottom 3 with a lot to do. Looking forward to the game, aint you glad we've our 40 odd points already! Rovers 2-1 Charlton Benni and Mgp (who been quiet on the goals front recently) 25k
brfc fan Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Probably 2-0 to Rovers with Benni and Derbs to score. I don't know about you but I think Sparky's been not playing Matt very much lately. I don't know why, he's a fantastic player with loads of youthful energy and enthusiasm.
Bobby G Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Most likely we will stick with the same lineup, and thats not a bad thing. 3 points a MUST for our European ambitions as this is the most winnable of the last 4.
Presty On Tour Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 charlton are fighting for their lives, are taking a big support and we need to match their effort and commitment. we need to win 4 from 4 to stand any chance of europe qualification and that should be motivation enough imo. we have the better players, we are at home and we should send the cockneys back down the motorway in tears. tugay to run the show and a hard fought rovers win
Eddie Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I have a horrible feeling about this game, the only thing that makes me feel better is that if we lose we'll make West Ham's job a lot more difficult.
Presty On Tour Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 skysports have gone for a 2-1 victory for the rovers http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...HARLTON+PREVIEW and lawro has gone for 2-0 rovers http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/6578961.stm
Ricky Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I'm a bit worried. My last 3 games have been Chelsea - Lost 2-1 Villa Lost - 2-1 West Ham - Lost 2-1 and I've just bought a ticket for tomorrow. The Purple Penetrator will be able to drive from Hereford to Blackburn on it's own soon!!!

Ricky Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I certainly will be if I can manage to smuggle myself in there without a season ticket. It's been done before!!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 1-0 Charlton D Bent Far too much confidence on here
Jordan Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I certainly will be if I can manage to smuggle myself in there without a season ticket. It's been done before!! Rovers to sneak a 1-0 vicory in the final few minutes. Ricky - Getting the train through tomorrow so will be drinking in town before the game. I have not caught the train to Blackburn in about 5 years. Have they finished the station yet as last time I was there it was a big building site.
Mr. E Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 it'll be nice to see us send charlton down. and we better do it.
Roar of the Rover Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I know some people aren't that confident but you have to see that the players really want European Football next season. They really are gonna go for it tommorow!
brfc fan Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 1-0 Charlton D Bent Far too much confidence on here Stand by your team. Surely we can beat, no, sorry, thrash Charlton.
Ozz Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Charlton sold 5,818 tickets upto last night, CAFC Off. with a cash turnstile today. Impressive, better than we would do in a similar situation I would say?
stuwilky Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Had the strangest view this morning, quite happily sat at Irongate (Bamber Bridge's ground) which sits adjacent to the Preston - Blackburn line, so Im used to seeing single/double carriages whizz by. All of a sudden the longest Virgin train Ive ever seen tootles past. Bloody southerners!

stuwilky Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Charlton fans aren't coming on the train because of engineering work - probably a London train being diverted. Oddly there were lots of Charlton fans on it! Just put 2+2 together!
Lathund Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 We all know what happened the last time we faced Charlton, as that was as much a game we should win as this is, but I believe we'll have learned by now: Rovers 3-0 Charlton Chris Samba hattrick!
bluewhitearmy Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 I see this being the same as last year rovers 4-1 charlton
modes98 Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Same starting line up. Friedel, Emerton, Samba, Nelsen, Warnock, Bentley, Dunn, Mokoena, Pedersen, Roberts, McCarthy. Subs: Derbs, Tugs, Henchoz, Nonda, Brown
