Rovermatt
What a tool Benitez is. It's the incompetence of his own team that handed the title to United. That's why they'll win it today. Cheers Rafa.

tony gale's mic
Here's a thought - next weekend would be a perfect way for Ferguson to exact revenge on Shearer for turning Man Utd down all those times. I'm sure he's not thinking that way but if he wanted to he could quite easily lose to Hull and dash Shearer's dreams...
Backroom Tom Posted May 16, 2009 Backroom Share Posted May 16, 2009 I can't see it mattering, I fancy Newcastle to beat Fulham and Hull to lose today making it all over
tony gale's mic
Fulham won 3-1 at Villa Park last week, Newcastle struggled for the majority of the match vs a very poor Boro till the last 20 mins ago. Don't think they'll get more than a point.

Backroom DE. Posted May 16, 2009 Backroom Share Posted May 16, 2009 Better the boring routineness of Utd winning it than the media # that would come from Liverpool winning it.
tony gale's mic
Better the boring routineness of Utd winning it than the media # that would come from Liverpool winning it. Agreed. Right now there's still only 4 clubs to have won the Premier League. The longer we can boast to Liverpool fans we're the only side to have held the Premier League trophy at Anfield, the better. tony gale's mic
Will WBA take advantage of a deflated Liverpool side tomorrow? If they do then its going to make the final day very interesting.
den
Will WBA take advantage of a deflated Liverpool side tomorrow? If they do then its going to make the final day very interesting. Still praying we're not involved in it. TGM.
tony gale's mic
Still praying we're not involved in it. TGM. We won't get relegated. I can understand people being worried that we're not mathematically safe, but it'd take a freak set of results.
philipl
Fulham playing like pansies up at St James' Park. Forget about them winning there.
tony gale's mic
Not watching the game but BBC has Fulham as having 65% of the possession...
Guest benmaxwell
Bolton 1 - 0 Hull City!!!!!!!!!!!! If the above score stays the same, that makes it matchmatically impossible for us to be relegated doesn't it??

Backroom DE. Posted May 16, 2009 Backroom Share Posted May 16, 2009 Hull 1-0 down useless. It's upto Boro to get Newcastle relegated, I think.
Mr. E
Hull must be the most suicidal team to ever play in the premiership. If Newcastle stay up because of them I hope they continue falling back to the conference where they belong and stay there.
Guest benmaxwell
Lets all bare in mind that a dreadfull Aston Villa also have Newcastle in the last game of the season. So the best thing for us is to garentee our future in the Premier League today, be it Newcastle loosing or Hull loosing...
