Mozzer Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 no torres..no robbie keane-basically they have no attackers-stop gerrard and we may have a chance-knowing the way blackburn defend at the moment dirk kuyt will end up getting a hattrick..

Roost Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Here is the team that ended their terrible run against Liverpool in 1996/97: Flowers, Kenna, Sherwood, Hendry, Le Saux, Gallacher, Wilcox, Sutton, McKinlay, Berg, Flitcroft SUBS: Bohinen, Ripley, Marker, Fenton and Given. I don't think a single player from that side would fail to get in our current starting eleven. Ironically the only player who played that day who might play today is Robbie Fowler! I feel sorry for Ince - yes he is out of his depth, but just compare our team now to the one above - and the one above only stayed up thanks to Tony Parkes turning them round. Oh, the memories..........
Jan Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I was going to this one, but quite frankly now I cannot be bothered to waste the diesel money.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 The club says thanks for the support in their time of need Janice.
Jan Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 The club says thanks for the support in their time of need Janice. Who cares? If I'm left with a choice of Ince or Souness, that's is for me until sanity comes back. They've got my money and I object to spending any more if those are the alternatives. I'd rather just stay at home and watch "Strictly Come Dancing". Although knowing my luck at the moment, Austin will be out tonight and that will make for a really crappy few days.

Ste B Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 The club says thanks for the support in their time of need Janice. Says the man who's going to spend the game voicing opinions on Ince rather than getting behind the players. Whilst I'm all for making our voice heard after the game, we really need something from the game today.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Read my posts further back Ste B.....I will support the team and voice my opinion AFTER the game like many others. I have had a belly full of Ince.
Ste B Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I have had a belly full of Ince. Me too.. and theres a lot to fill. Wasnt really just a dig at you, but the fans need to get behind the team during the game.
Backroom Tom Posted December 6, 2008 Backroom Posted December 6, 2008 With a lot of the talk pre match about Keane being dropped and his poor form I think we all know we're the team to help him out, 3 - 1 pool with keane scoring after coming on. My only hope is that a rejuvinated Benni Mac spurs us on to something but a good start is vital.
alexanders Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Looks like no Roque and no Emerton. Lets hope Benni and Derbs will shine then.
Plastic Head Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I think we'll win. A clean sheet is probably too much to ask for, so 3-2 Rovers. Can you explain the method by which we will score 3 goals against a team that have conceded 4 goals away all season whereas we have only scored 4 at home all season. If you can work this out a quick call to Mr Ince might help his predicament.
Paul Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I'm leaving for Ewood soon and think we will win. No rationale other than it's they way football is sometimes.
Bobby G Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Would be a nice change for 3 points coming home to us...
EwoodGlory Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 If the players want Ince to stay, then we have a chance of winning. I don't think we will win.
Craigman Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Robinson Ooijer Samba Nelsen Warnock Emerton Andrews Tugay Pedersen Debyshire Santa Cruz Brown McCarthy VOGEL Villaneueva Simpson Fowler Treacy
the swede Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Looks like no Roque and no Emerton. Is that true?!
Paul Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Right time to go, caught up with the latest Ince stuff. Goodness knows what is going to happen at Ewood today. One thing for sure I feel more up for this game than I have for a while. There's going to be a lot of noise coming from my seat. We HAVE to win this game of football. COME ON YOU BLUES! 3 points today.
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Vogel's on the bench!?!? F*** ME! Vogel??!!?!!? He's alive!!!!
Bobby G Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Too little too late? I cant believe how Vogel playing today to shore up the midfield would be worse than Andrews...Oh well chance for Andrews to impress...someone!
the swede Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Robinson Ooijer Samba Nelsen Warnock Emerton Andrews Tugay Pedersen Debyshire Santa Cruz Brown McCarthy VOGEL Villaneueva Simpson Fowler Treacy Looks good to me.. Come on Rovers!
Bobby G Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Liverpool team there for the taking...They really are. Insua is a youngster. Hyypia past his best. No Torres or deadly Keane...If we have some confidence and strong well, you never know!
