b12_simon Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Newcastle can't play for a draw - it would be a stupid thing to do. Which makes it the thing they'll most likely do

champions1995 Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Which makes it the thing they'll most likely do Probably. They are so big headed and full of themselves they probably will play for a draw, thinking United will beat Hull and keep them up.
Billy Castell Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Newcastle will probably go all-out for goals, hit the post 20 times, but get caught on the break a lot. Are the games on tomorrow or Sunday? I also wish the games were on at the same time, just so I can see it all kicking off on Soccer Saturday.
T4E Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Billy - they are all on Sunday, and they do all kick off at the same time. Which is why they're on Sunday (so some of the games can be on telly).
Billy Castell Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Pah, can't wait until Sunday. Got a bit confused over the times as Sky have advertised the matches at different times.
T4E Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 They have one programme starting at 3pm where they'll do all the build up, then the other one starts at 4pm where they'll go straight in to the game with no talk. Definitely every game 4pm Sunday.
champions1995 Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Definitely every game 4pm Sunday. Yep thats it. Sky's Live games are Hull v Man Utd, Villa v Newcastle and Sunderland v Chelsea. I'll be using my phone during the West Brom game to find out how the teams are doing. Should be a great day!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 I'll be using my phone during the West Brom game to find out how the teams are doing. Should be a great day! Same. I've got a feeling Villa will destroy everybody's dreams.
philipl Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Will be amusing if the Blackburn End erupts into chants for Vlla!
dingles staying down 4ever Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Its time for Fergie to get the ultimate revenge on Shearer for turning down ManUre twice. Rio to put the ball into his own net in comedy style and Utd lose. To quote the Geordie Messiah "I'd just luv it!"
b12_simon Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Will be amusing if the Blackburn End erupts into chants for Vlla! If they do the biz I can guarantee part of the Darwen End will! Here's hoping for Newcastle Brown Trousers

Rio to put the ball into his own net in comedy style and Utd lose. To quote the Geordie Messiah "I'd just luv it!" Correct me if im wrong, but if both Hull and Newcastle win, it doesnt necessary mean that the barcodes go down if Sunderland lose. It would mean Sunderland are relegated?

It would mean Sunderland are relegated? I know but I think Villa will win with a last minute James Milner goal to rub the Geordie Masses noses in a bit more. As I said "Luv it, Just Luv it!"
chocky Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Correct me if im wrong, but if both Hull and Newcastle win, it doesnt necessary mean that the barcodes go down if Sunderland lose. It would mean Sunderland are relegated? That is correct...Newcastle would have 37 points and Sunderland 36 in that scenario...
beerwins Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Before the toon play they always seem to play shame there away tbh
Shabani Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 newcastle sealed their fate when they lost at home to fulham. that should have been a home banker Villa will wipe the floor with them good riddance
Iceman Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Does anybody know if Sky will be switching between the games, while watching one particular game? Or will the viewer have to flick through the channels to check on whats happening elsewhere?
Stuart Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Does anybody know if Sky will be switching between the games, while watching one particular game? Or will the viewer have to flick through the channels to check on whats happening elsewhere? They normally feature one match, with the others "on interactive via the red button". They also tend to show the goals as pop ups on the featured game.
Iceman Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Cool. We get the feed on our satelite tv in SA via sky. However ill probably have to flick through our channels to see whats happening elsewhere. C'mon Villa!
jodrell Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 A different take on the relegation games. I am glad rovers aren't involved Robbo's nightmare clockwatch http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/robborobson/200...clockwatch.html

RevidgeBlue Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Hull are so poor I expect even that United squad will beat them. Then I hope the Barcodes are so poor that even a stuttering Villa beat them!
