dj54nna Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Michel Salgado's boots are not fast enough to keep up with Michel Salgado. And in Catalan, 'Salgado' means 'Savage, but not sh*t or Welsh'.

DeadlyDirk Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Ronaldo is a Rover! From The Sun: "Michel Salgado has revealed how Cristiano Ronaldo helped talk him into swapping Real Madrid for Blackburn. " Well it's pretty obvious, how was Ronaldo going to get in the team if Salgado was still there, Ronaldo is obviously more intelligent than he looks, which isn't hard considering he looks like he has the intelligence of Kerry Katona.
67splitscreen Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 According to grooby still no international clearance.
T4E Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Obviously there'll come at time when most people will tire of all the bullshit and move on to matters relating to his actual abilities. I come back on from time to time in the hope that we've reached that point. It's a bit too early I suppose. You claimed in your previous post that you preferred to talk about his performances. He hasn't played yet. So what exactly is it you keep coming back to check for?
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 You claimed in your previous post that you preferred to talk about his performances. He hasn't played yet. So what exactly is it you keep coming back to check for? Are you a stalker by any chance ?
mellison24 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Are you a stalker by any chance ? No he's a guy who is asking why you aren't allowed to have any fun. And why are u asking for performance assessments when he aint kicked a ball for us?
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 According to Radio Lancs the clearance came through yesterday but he had to serve a one match ban for receiving a red card (?) in his final game for Real. I expect we'll see bim against Wham next Saturday He's such a crazy _______ he's suspended before he even plays. The first of many!
T4E Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Are you a stalker by any chance ? That doesn't even make sense.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Let's hope he doesn't get injured in his testimonial.
DanLad Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Let's hope he doesn't get injured in his testimonial. I don't think he's actually playing in the game.
Balwer Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I don't think he's actually playing in the game. Probably to give the opposition a fair chance then.
Big Fat Sam Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Is he playing in this testimonial or watching because he's not in the squad??
dj54nna Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Blackburn full-back Michel Salgado may have a difference of opinion with new boss Sam Allardyce regarding the Spaniard's defensive duties. Salgado's former Real Madrid team-mate Steve McManaman claimed the attack-minded defender knew two words of English: "cover me". (Daily Mail) When Michel Salgado says 'GET TO THE CHOPPER', you know some serious sh*t is about to go down.
67splitscreen Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 A brief mention on Real's web site. Tonight
DeadlyDirk Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Goalkeepers Casillas, Dudek Defenders Pepe, Marcelo, Albiol, Garay, Arbeloa and Drenthe Midfielders Lass, Robben, Guti, Gago, Granero, Diarra and Xabi Alonso Forwards Raul, Kaka, Benzema, Higuain, Van Nistelrooy and Cristiano Ronaldo I guess Salgado is just watching unless it's Real Madrid vs Salgado.
67splitscreen Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I can't understand why they think they need two keepers to stop Salgado he was never that prolific at scoring.
dj54nna Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I can't understand why they think they need two keepers to stop Salgado he was never that prolific at scoring. He didn't need to score. He stared at teams until they lost. When that failed, the killing started.
gazsimm Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 maybe salgado, is doing scouting work for us as well!!
DeadlyDirk Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 maybe salgado, is doing scouting work for us as well!! I think he's setting up a link so that Real Madrid will be our feeder club.
Iceman Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I think he's setting up a link so that Real Madrid will be our feeder club. And that is another reason to have these guys here. So many possibilities might become available for us. I wonder if Sam might use Salgado as a player/ part of the coaching team.
DeadlyDirk Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 And that is another reason to have these guys here. So many possibilities might become available for us. I wonder if Sam might use Salgado as a player/ part of the coaching team. Yeh true, obviously I was joking about the feeder club part but it can't hurt relations in the future, how long was he there, 10 or 11 years or something, he'll know a lot of people there and if perhaps someone was available on loan or in the twilight of their career again it might help in the future. I see on the official site today that Salgado won't be rushed into action, but then he said that about Kalinic.
