Drummer Boy Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 In the long-term, the only beneficiary is likely to be Chris Hughton - he's got out of the madhouse with reputation intact and will be seen as a good candidate for many a better job. I mean, who's going to hold it against him that NUFC sacked him?

Ozz Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Who cares about Newcastle? Brilliant city, in a lovely county with great people. But the club that sacked Bobby Robson deserves all it gets.

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted December 10, 2010 Moderation Lead Posted December 10, 2010 Just when they seemed to be getting some kind of stability/sense about them! Please Newcastle, don't ever change!
b12_simon Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Who cares about Newcastle? Brilliant city, in a lovely county with great people. But the club that sacked Bobby Robson deserves all it gets. Not much love for the shirtless, jobless, clueless around these parts but we can all have a good laugh at them!
cletus Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 If you made a film about Newcastle United, it`d probably get panned by the critics for being too unbelievable!
cn174 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Had a read of a couple of pages on that toontastic website :D Brilliant!! I really wish we'd be playing them this weekend up there - I do love watching a good protest!
Mattyblue Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 I'm sure I've witnessed 3 or so protests up there over the years!
47er Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Reading these comments I think Pardew is in for a very hard time. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?showtopic=28974&st=0&start=0
Backroom DE. Posted December 10, 2010 Backroom Posted December 10, 2010 Well, that's it for me. I've spending no more of 'my childrens inheritance' lining his pockets. On hearing the news on monday afternoon I flushed my season ticket down the toilet, vowing never to step foot back in the place until 'he' is out of our football club. Upon realising my haste on tuesday morning I found out I'd need to pay an admin charge on the replacement ticket which I'm not prepared to do. ffs
Ossydave Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Reading these comments I think Pardew is in for a very hard time. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?showtopic=28974&st=0&start=0 How does the song go again? "We are the loyalest, football supporters, the world has ever seen". What a joke, an absolute joke, I despise them!
patrickvalery Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Very strange goings on at Newcastle. Pardew somehow managed to get a good reputation down here in Southampton. Many fans were gutted when he got the sack. Could never understand it myself. He spent considerably more than any other league one boss and saints showed little improvement. Rumour has it he got the sack for shagging Jose Fonte's wife. Allegedly of course.
Backroom Tom Posted December 10, 2010 Backroom Posted December 10, 2010 Feel sorry for Pardew a 70 page thread wanting him out before he's done a thing wrong
Amo Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Feel sorry for Pardew a 70 page thread wanting him out before he's done a thing wrong I can see their point of view. The whole appointment stinks. It's not like Mike Ashley actually appointed someone he feels is right to take the club forward. He's just hired one of his mates on the cheap.
beerwins Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Had a read of a couple of pages on that toontastic website :D Brilliant!! I really wish we'd be playing them this weekend up there - I do love watching a good protest! Read on a few more pages when it actually get confirmed the majority U turn so fast there will be an overflow of whiplash in the geordie A & E. I cant for the life of me think of any reason why Ashley would sack Hughton and lose the stability that they seem to be building and employ Pardew who is by no means better, Why any manager would go there is beyond me its an absolute joke of a place.
Zulu Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Newcastle United - the gift that just keeps on giving.
Fife Rover Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 I actually feel genuinely sorry for their fans....not the shirtless ape variety, but the majority of decent long suffering fans. Ashley has ruined a great and well respected football club with his continued stupidity. The fans don't deserve that.
USABlue Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Totally unbelievable, the one man who perhaps brought a little respect back to that lot and they sack him. They deserve all the misery they get.
Backroom Tom Posted December 11, 2010 Backroom Posted December 11, 2010 Take it a few have had a change of heart now
67splitscreen Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 One big smug face at the toon tonight, Where were Liverpool for Carroll's goal jeez! he could have had a pint before getting that shot away.
Amo Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 That win was for Hughton. Watch 'em nosedive once Pardew gets to grips.
