cn174 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Think what the home attendance is before we start calling the away one!! Anyway 2-0 to Rovers - Kalinic & Roberts
John Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Interesting to see a few team selections without Mame Diouf in them. Personally would try and have him in starting line up as he seems to create problems (with this pace). Difficult one though as Kalinic and Cruz could be a decent partnership. Good to have options though.

greco Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 important game today, and i expect us to win it. im quite interested in finding out, what the new jones fella is about, so hopefully he will start.
my_name_is_Earl Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 It's going to be a very tight game today. West brom won a cracking game last week and will be well up for this. Keep it tight and I think we'll win 1-0. Roque and Jones both have to start for me.
Dan Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Optimistic, for the first time in a while. This has probably jinxed us now!! I hope we can attack like we did in our last league game at Ewood. If we can I can see us scoring a few goals today. 3-2 Roque hattrick, with Olsson and Hoilett providing after some great wing play.
tony gale's mic Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 ALBION have sold around 1,400 tickets for tomorrow's televised trip to Blackburn (ko 4pm). The club have now stopped selling seats for the Ewood Park fixture but supporters yet to buy a ticket will be able to pay on the gate in Lancashire. The Baggies have been granted a 2,800 allocation, priced £10 adults and £5 over-65s/under-15s. This is from the WBA website, but I think this is pretty poor considering the ticket prices! Ticket prices affect home fans a lot more - you have to factor in petrol/train costs, food etc when you go to an away game so a saving on the ticket price makes much less of a difference.
Guest linganzi Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Apart from a close win v a poor bpool team Wba have been dire of late. We must capitalize

Personally would try and have him in starting line up as he seems to create problems (with this pace). Difficult one though as Kalinic and Cruz could be a decent partnership. Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Please can we win, we never make it easy. A win would be just great. We'll either come out confident and grope them 2/3-0 or fumble nervously and draw 2-2 or lose 2-1.
brian nelsen Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I am really positive about today. My Allardycian hangover has all but gone. Waiting in anticipation for the team sheet. Long may this happy footbally feeling continue. By the way. This is my first post on here. I've been following the forum for quite a while now and have recently started feeling a little left out. So I've joined in. I don't think my posts will ever win any awards for amazing content, but my view is a view. Steve Keans Blue and White Army.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 We need a win today, a bit of style on show would be nice but we must come away with something today by hook or by crook. Come On Rovers !
Andy3809 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Nothing excites me more then seeing a new signing in the flesh down at ewood. Really hope jones plays and is the man we've been crying out for in the middle. Going for a 2 nil with samba and hoilett the goalscorers.
jimw1988 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I think its hard to pick our strikeforce today(not that thats a bad thing) I would Like to see Santa and Niko, Think they would complement each other well! Mame looks good at the moment, works hard Roberts got some crucial goals before injury and was santas best partner before Benjanis two goals against the pool courtesy of my big fat greek defender! tough one for kean! Still optimistic for the first time in a good few games!(probably lose then)
John Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 If you look at the table closely this is a massive game and could be influential in deciding what type of season we will have. Also winning on a Sunday gets the week off to a cracking start, here's hoping.
Stuart Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Probably a bit late to be posting this but apparently there are no trains arriving at Blackburn station from any direction. People are being brought in by bus.
brfc4ever Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 ROVERS: Robinson, Salgado, Samba ©, Givet, Olsson, Hoilett, Dunn, Jones, Pedersen, Kalinic, Santa Cruz. Subs: Bunn (GK), EH Diouf, Nzonzi, Benjani, Roberts, Hanley, MB Diouf.
LeChuck Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Exciting, well balanced line up. Looking forward to this.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Looking forward to seeing Jones play. Be interesting to see what sort of partnership Santa and Kalinic form too. Exciting team! Shame Nelsen failed to recover in time but Givet at centreback fills me with confidence as I think it's his best position.
budha Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 So it's Dunny on the left? Would have probably rather seen Hanley coming to CB and leaving Olsson in the left mid.
modes98 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 You'd presume MGP moves back out left Nelsen out with knee injury
