Gav
First of all Kean shouldn’t be sacked if found guilty of drink driving, and he’s very much a victim in all of this like we are. Not a popular view shared by many on here, but he’s been lied to just as much as we have as far as I’m concerned. That said, he’s known that Jones was leaving, he’s known that Nelson wouldn’t make the start of the season and he’s not sure if Samba will leave, so why hasn’t he addressed that position in the team? Or has he tried and the owners have dragged their feet? Won’t pay the money etc. Whatever the reasoning and confusion going on behind the scenes, it needs sorting out and quick. The fans on Saturday clearly backed the manager and owners, but that won’t continue, the clock is ticking.

RibbleValleyRover
If he's found guilty today I just don't see how he can survive in the job. The owners turned down certain sponsors because they didn't match their 'moral compass' and then there was the Diouf incident with that QPR player which saw him being shipped off to Rangers after the owners reportedly weren’t happy with their and Rovers image being associated with that behaviour. Unless there is a radical shift, change or some flexibility in their beliefs and values then a guilty verdict might start the ball rolling in regards to the owners looking to bring in a replacement. Kean seemed more of a figure of fun than a respected manager to the fans around me on Saturday. And as for backing the owners, there just seemed an atmosphere of resignation, if anything. Kelbo
First of all Kean shouldn’t be sacked if found guilty of drink driving, No, he should be sacked for poor results and poor management! That said, he’s known that Jones was leaving, he’s known that Nelson wouldn’t make the start of the season and he’s not sure if Samba will leave, so why hasn’t he addressed that position in the team? Agree 100% and he should have told Venkys so instead of being 'positive' and speaking of top 10 finishes Whatever the reasoning and confusion going on behind the scenes, it needs sorting out and quick. Again agree 100%

Were you there or have you just had dreams of chants for 'Keano' with all supporters wearing Venky's T shirts !!! Their names were 'mud' with virtually everyone I spoke with. Hardly a positive note. All in line with the vast majority on this MB.

Amo
Would prefer he was sacked for footballing reasons, tbh. At least, that way, it shows Venky's realize we need a proven manager.

jonv
Absolutely disgraceful that a family orientated club such as Blackburn Rovers has a drink driver in charge of the senior team. What sort of message does this send to the community and in particular the younger kids!! We all make mistakes but this particular mistake reflects poorly on the club as a whole. I want to see a respectable man at the helm of this club and not a man that endangers others life's through self recklessness!!

Andy
Has pleaded guilty according to Twitter. WTF is his game after pleading not guilty initially ? To delay the hearing for as long as possible, backing Venky's into a corner (in his mind) to keep him on as manager so late in the day. Sack the lying weasel and get a proper manager in asap - there's still time to buy and shape a team.

cesus
Not going to get sacked, the not guilty plea will have been to try and find a loop hole with the help of some smart arse brief! As somebody said on here a few months back, if we sack him who would come and work here, honest question? Depleted squad, clearly tight purse strings, many trips to Pune, discontented fans, top defender looking to leave, having to talk sh@*e to the fans and give assurances that don't appear to come true ... Not too appealing for any respected managers!
