Well, I kept hold of a tiny, little, minuscule bit of hope all season that we could still sack kean and turn it around. No hope now. None at all. Feel we are going down no matter what happens now. Gutted.

Brilliant, looks like we're playing 9-0-1 again. No point even playing a striker, might as well throw the Yak in at the back too. And to say we're the home side...

Some great pictures on Sky of supporters looking VERY angry. Crap commentators though sympathising with Kean, why do they all bury their heads in the sand? If I was a big name journo i'd consider breaking the trend and telling it like it is. Cryer almost did until he stepped back in line. That's the sort of journalism that gets you noticed, not by being a sheep.

I would LOVE to hear a journo/commentator say "you know what? I agree with the fans. Kean's a pie faced knob jockey that needs a reality check and an escort to the exit door".

It looks like we're playing with 9 men.

The fitness level is appalling. Being outrun, outplayed and outfought all over the pitch.

Combine that with no plan, or some kind of plan based on a fitness we don't have, and you're bound to lose.

I can't agree that Bolton is a good side, they are almost as poor as we are....but we are sh***

It honestly don't know what will happen....

How will we fare against Liverpool and Manchester U in the next games.....Kean said that this is 6p and were heading for 0p .-.. OUT

Im so depressed and I've been supporting Rovers since 1992......puh.....

Robinson should have collected the first goal, and others could have cleared it with a little more decisive defending, but the drive has gone. Second goal was poor as well, Dunn should never have played that pass and Bolton could counter easily. MGP picked up Hanley's man and a proper tackler would have stopped Reo Coker who was lucky (!) that it went in. We don't deserve anything from the game so far.

We can't claim injustice, luck or even injuries. We are shocking, that midfield is the worst I can remember. We have no pace in any area of the pitch. No closing down, no support for the forward. Ball watching. It's dire!

Dominated, at home, by a side with fewer points. I'm nearly speechless.

Anybody who believes that the players are still with the manager is as nutty as Steve Kean himself. That was absolute bilge of the lowest order. We should expect nothing else of course. We've been on national television 3 times in 4 weeks now and have embarrassed ourselves on each occasion.

We've no plan A, let alone a plan B and look as likely to get anything from this as Kean has of getting sacked any time soon.

It struck me before the start of the match that Coyle appeared confident and relaxed (perhaps he's more capable of portraying a false sense of calm than Kean). In the light of his opposition, I can't say I blame him.

Without wanting to be entirely ignorant of Bolton's problems (in the same way other supporters are so maddeningly ignorant of our own), it doesn't take a seasoned follower of the game to spot the real football manager standing on the sidelines. Coyle is up and down, urging his players on, issuing instructions, attempting to lead. By comparison, Kean is standing mute, a confused yet vacant look on his face. He could be watching two dogs sniff each other for all his apparent engagement with what is happening in front of him. If somebody from Bolton offered me a swap now, I'd pay the taxi fares.

In no way do I feel sorry for Kean but frankly there is little left for him to do but stand there alone in the rain, calculating his family budget for the next decade of fleeting employment.

Matt in Blackburn, via text: "I'm a Blackburn fan leaving at half-time. Lynch mob mentality not for me. Scared, frankly. Embarrassed by so-called 'support'. They bizarrely think the anti-Kean chants don't affect the players. That's not a home game atmosphere for the biggest match of the season."

From the BBc sport website. I'm not at the game but please back the team during the match and leave the vitriol for the end.
