I just want to say a big thank you (on mine and my family's behalf) to all those who have worked so hard to arrange these meetings and are trying their best to save our very special football club. When Glen says the supporters shouldn't have to go to these lengths he is right, but I'm so grateful that they are. If Venky's/others have done something wrong they have picked the wrong club to mess with.

Let's hope the chapter of Venky's ownership is coming to a welcome end. I'm not holding my breath because there have been so many disappointing moments in the last year and a half, it is hard to feel all that hopeful anymore. But there's a flicker of hope. I feel like a traitor for hoping that the authorities investigate Rovers, but if we can get rid of these incompetent individuals at every level, I would be so grateful. All I want as a fan is to believe in the club again, to wear the badge with true pride, be able to sing the manager's name and to know that the boardroom is putting the very best interests of the club before anything else.

I have no idea if anybody from the Premier League, FA or Football League read this forum, but in case they do - please, please try to end this agonising situation.

Hats off to you mr Glen and co, nice job all round. Keeping my fingers crossed that they do something sooner rather than later.

With the new premier league money Blackburn have become a bigger prospect for investment provided the loons don't sell the whole squad first and also puts all parties you have talked to under even greater pressure to make sure things are done properly. Making an example of our current owners would be perfect timing to show the world that the premier league will not suffer owners like Venkys and send a message to potential owners to play it straight.

Amazing stuff by all involved.

I do wonder how serious the allegations are and the proof to go with it. Im kind of hoping after what these people have put us through that they are serious enough to warrent criminal charges in some cases. A few financial penalties and bans from footballing authorities doesnt seem appropiate with everything that seems to have gone on

The problem with Mr Anderson and co is they are not fools.. they lost but with recent changes may of regained control.. Venkys tried to do it themselves and got shamed for it.. that due to Venkys sticking with Kean and his cronies coming into play (Agnew, security king and co) will probably see see JA and co return at the very least advising our current clown on sales and purchases. This time though the daft money shelled out will be better hidden and Venkys will carry on regardless.

As anybody who has been on this board for any length of time knows, I have been a huge critic of the match day protests. I felt they were counter-productive, divisive and ultimately futile. Having said that I cannot fault the dedication, endeavour and passion of the team who have taken part in these meetings in order to effect regime change.

Was it the same group that met that the Sports Minister yesterday? ie. Glen, Philip, Rob, the MPS.

Mark, Rob and I attended today and Savio came along as an independent supporter. The MPS, Have put their weight behind the group and have asked us to lead from the front

Very sorry to hear that. RIP.

I'm sure she was very proud of your work for the whole community of Blackburn and those around the world who love(d) the club. Whatever the outcome, you've shown your grit.

That letter from Glen to Anderson is brilliantly written.

Good effort and well put together but not brilliantly written. I don't want to sound churlish but Topman is right, the grammar does rather detract from the quality of the questioning and the overall impact.

I suggest Jimmk2 might prove useful to the cause.

Does that mean that your earlier opinions have changed now Neil? Your post does not really indicate as much.

If as Glen suggests the scenario of a sale of our club was enforced as a result of these investigations/possible breach of rules.

  1. Who aside from BRSIT would want to purchase our club?
or if this scenario is played out-would BRSIT be in a position with currently only £2 million promised to take control?
  2. Where would this scenario leave the club?
  3. Would any point deductions or limitations for a possible return to the premier league also be enforced?
There are so many positives that are coming out of the wonderful work of these meetings but we do need to look at what is going to happen beyond. [/b]
IS ANYBODY ACTIVELY SEARCHING FOR A 'Fit and proper-in the wider not financial sense' POTENTIAL BUYER FOR THE CLUB IF IT SUDDENLY BECOMES AVAILABLE OR KNOWS OF ANYBODY WHO WOULD BE WILLING TO STEP IN...

I know that this is getting way ahead of ourselves and it is easy to say one step at a time but this scenario could become very real with the good work that is currently being done

The two ians and their backers have substantial funds available and want to buy the club. As proven longstanding supporters they must be the

best bet for the future of our club. Lay off the criticisms of the grammar in glens letter, it is churlish bearing in mind the efforts he

and others have put in on our behalf, we all know what he means and is trying to get at.

You are wrong beatrix. I had already lauded his efforts to date in my post. I have been on 3 of the protests too. My criticism was constructive, poor grammar does detract massively from content. Maybe it shouldn't do in your eyes but I can assure you it does and especially on something that is intended to go public. It seems PhillipL has been roped in to add some specialist knowledge so it's no real issue to bring in a proofreader is it?
