[Archived] Meeting with Minister of sport and premier league

You are wrong beatrix. I had already lauded his efforts to date in my post. I have been on 3 of the protests too. My criticism was constructive, poor grammar does detract massively from content. Maybe it shouldn't do in your eyes but I can assure you it does and especially on something that is intended to go public. It seems PhillipL has been roped in to add some specialist knowledge so it's no real issue to bring in a proofreader is it?

Agreed.

The two ians and their backers have substantial funds available and want to buy the club. As proven longstanding supporters they must be the

best bet for the future of our club. Lay off the criticisms of the grammar in glens letter, it is churlish bearing in mind the efforts he

and others have put in on our behalf, we all know what he means and is trying to get at.

Aren't you the same joker who slammed fans for not blindly renewing season tickets? You're in no position to talk about "churlish".

No one's criticizing Glen's cause, they're highlighting the fact that letter reads unprofessionally, which is something that has needed addressing for awhile regarding BRAG's correspondence.

As anybody who has been on this board for any length of time knows, I have been a huge critic of the match day protests. I felt they were counter-productive, divisive and ultimately futile. Having said that I cannot fault the dedication, endeavour and passion of the team who have taken part in these meetings in order to effect regime change.

Trembling are we?

Answer my earlier questions or does the truth make you shake?

Are you proud of what the venkys have acheived?

Are you still totally besotted with them ?

Do you think us tremblers actually had a point?

Excellent work by all those concerned in their relentless pursuit of answers. Thank you.

Questions in the letter to Anderson a great way of putting all our suspicions out in the open, without being at risk of slander/libel etc. Loved question 5 :rover:

Could work in our favour anyway. FA and Goverment see professional glossy presentations by the truckload.

Now they get honest efforts by ordinary and passionate fans-----refreshing change?

Fans who are morphing into something bigger than when they started out I admit. Awesome!

Could the net be closing in?

I really do hope so.

If a proof-reader, or someone to help with composition is needed, and no-one else steps forward, then I would be happy to help. (Does that sentence have too many commas?)

The formal spelling of no one is without a hyphen.

The football league in turn need to know what they are getting and will be meeting with the club prior to meeting us. They follow the prems suit but also have there own rules these are IMO a lot stricter than the premier leagues

Glen the work you and everyone else has done is tremendous. You have come such a long way since the early protests in August.

Hopefully we will all get the result we want Venkys, Kean, Agnew, SEM/Kentaro out. Someday history will tell us why this combination has been so toxic to our club.

I also belive the Fooball League will be stricter in their dealings with us. I will take whatever punishment is needed to rid these parasites from Rovers.

I'd also be happy to help with any media work or proofing.

I wasn't a fan of the in-match protests as I saw them as detrimental to the team and I maintain that they played a part in our relegation. However, I think the work that's being done now is extremely commendable and productive.

Would just like to say there is a massive team behind all our efforts as supporters.

The BRFC Action group Committee, Mark Fish, Rob Crabtree, Phil Thompson, Paul Keogh, Andy Woods and Graham Reid

The groups Patrons , Wayne Hemingway MBE, Maureen Bateson MBE, Sir Bill Taylor, and Lord Patel,

The public backing and letters of support from, Kate Hollern, Ibby Masters, Jack Straw MP, Graham Jones MP, Jake Berry MP, Mayor Khan , Deputy Mayor Mulah

Media, Richard Askam, Nick Harris, Andy Cryer, Ian Singleton, Ian Sinott, Gary Hickson and various others we have brought on board in confidence

Current and ex employee's who have provided information including players. Various agents and a special mention to Peter Harrison

All the people who have provided information in confidence

All the action Group members and non-members who have been the wall of strength behind any progress we are ALL collectively making. This includes BRFCS, Vital Blackburn , Rovers mad, who have given the clubs supporters the platform to come together and communicate.

The people who have made kind donations to the action group to allow us to persue these efforts and take them to London etc

I dont think anyone individual has put more or less into this because this is a community and team effort from everyone, both here, around the UK and abroad.

I'm proud to be a rovers fan, proud of the town where I was born and proud of everyone for sticking together

Voted for Kean to stay about half way through the season because I thought he'd drag us out of it. Never imagined us going down. I'll admit I was wrong. I still don't think the protests helped though and I'll always be adamant on that.

The protests had NOTHING to do with relegation whatsoever. We went down because the Manager and the team he assembled were not up to the standard required.

All the rest is just weak minded and weak willed wishy washy modern britain namby pamby bull

Appreciate your modesty Glen, But yourself and the rest of the Committee,

really deserve a special mention, I dread to think where we would be, if the Action group had not been formed. So a big thanks from me, for all the committee's hard work.

Good grief Topman this must be a record a new avatar without any titbits! Lol!.

As Glen stated I (Savio) was there in a capacity where I just heard Glen's,Robs & Mark's presentation.

Apart from one pronunciation error I just listened to what they had to say

and while I will never break any confidences about what was said in the meeting the lads have put a strong case to the FA.

They now are going to need time to fully investigate the info

One thing I will say Glen and the rest of them have always conducted themselves with dignity and have done everything possible to effect change

and they deserve huge praise for what they have done not criticism

As Glen said thanks to all the supporters who have been behind the group we have come so far

We will win this battle I would also urge anyone who is not a member to join the action group

As Glen has said many times this group is open to everyone I will also be joining and when I am settled in Blackburn I will definitely be there lending my support to the cause.

Fantastic work guys. I just hope that this ends up where we all want it to - With these parasites removed from the club and us being able to be proud of our club once more.

My little girl turned 7 today and all she wanted for her birthday was to go and watch Rovers for the first time with her dad (I tried explaining that the season was over but that didn't deter her). 2 years ago I would've been straight on the phone to get her a ST for next season. At the moment I don't even want to buy her a ticket for the first home game next season!

This highlights the damage being done by these utter ar$eholes! It's not just the present being damaged, it's the future! She, and many others are the future fans of this club and when their parents are reluctant to take them along to Ewood, the club is terminally ill.

I've shielded her all her life from following her mum's team, so come on PL, FA, FL and anyone else, help rid us of this scum before she defects to Manure!

RE: the allegations which are currently without documentary proof, do the FA/PL/Governmt have the power to demand answers if they ask a straight question of any of the parties involved?

For instance, could they insist on JA answering the questions on Glen's letter if it was part of their investigation?

(whereas he can easily just ignore supporters asking the questions)
