Majiball Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 We is playing some team from London tonight. Can't think of any links between the two clubs. Enjoy.

sharpysharps Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Paul Ince and Keith Andrews are the two main links between the two clubs since MK Don's were formed.
Majiball Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 I view it as Sam's old Number 3 V's his replacement! Let battle commence!
neophox Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I would start like this: Kean Ribeiro, Hanley, Orr, Henley Vukcevic, Dunn, Jorge, Nunes Rochina, Goodwillie
The_Expert Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I expect to hear gems like, "they were well organised and clearly had a game plan to cope wi wur international players whose unfamiliarity with the competition was a key factor." or perhaps, "We played well and dominated possession inside their area with wur young lads running the show. With so many positives to take from the game into our promotion battle I think it is only fair to focus on the good things that came out wur game tonight.." A shock 3-0 to the Dons, whose players will be shocked to see how far the mighty (rabble) have fallen in footballling terms.
Rovers_Dan Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 2-2 I reckon Alan Tubby Smith with a brace for them Julio Iglesias and Fabio Nunes for us.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 2-2 I reckon Alan Tubby Smith with a brace for them Julio Iglesias and Fabio Nunes for us. Thought Smith was out for them
Mullionvagrant Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 http://www.dailymail...rong-sides.html Article football league clubs mustn't play weakend team Might this be the reason we played Edinhio in particular (clearly not ready) and Ribeiro (although played well) against Leicester-have we got to be seen to be playing our first choice team in the cup. I.e we played them once in the league before the MK Dons game so they must be our league first choice right......???
Derbyshire Blue Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Going for a double, Rovers to lose to MK Dons and Leeds United with Paddy Power, and pray its the start of the run that see us eventually rid of Coco
92er Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 http://www.dailymail...rong-sides.html Article football league clubs mustn't play weakend team If you read today's LT, it appears nobody has told Stevie Wonder. I wonder if he'll find out before kick off?
Earlydoors Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 http://www.dailymail...rong-sides.html Article football league clubs mustn't play weakend team Firstly, let me apologise for not be sure about anything but.............. The premier league 25 man squad (does that still exist?) and if it does is it applicable in the football league? Well anyway, FA said they weren't going to cite any team that played any players from that 25 man squad So, presumably, a weakened team would have to include players outside of that 25 man squad?
martonrover Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 We is playing some team from London tonight. Can't think of any links between the two clubs. Enjoy. 44 miles from London ;-)
AggyBlue Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 44 miles from London ;-) I think it was in reference to Wimbledon. Decided to travel down for this. COYB
dwayne cage Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I love the name of this thread made laugh out loud!
Hasta Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 If we get beat tonight does this count as strike 1 for Keano. That way we only have to lose 2 league games to get rid of the buffoon.
braddock Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Going for a double, Rovers to lose to MK Dons and Leeds United with Paddy Power, and pray its the start of the run that see us eventually rid of Coco Fair enough with the bet, but the end of that sentence breaks my heart much more than the empty seats.
onlyonejackwalker Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Fair enough with the bet, but the end of that sentence breaks my heart much more than the empty seats. Heartbreaking? How dramatic. Fingers crossed we win the next zillion matches 10-0, but still sack the deceitful, low life, classless, drunkard.
alexanders Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I am in the camp where I hope we win everything and get promoted even though it means Kean in charge. I am clinging to the hope that NO ONE can be stupid enough to give him a new deal (it goes out after this season)
heysham rover Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Franchise FC against the worst run club in Britain. Jesus, football really has sunk to new lows.
yeti-dog Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Going tonight. I expect us to beat MK as they've been decimated by suspensions. Looking forward to seeing some of the peripheral squad players and perhaps pick out one or two who just might make the step-up to the first-team. Here's hoping...
Nobert Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I'm in the camp where I like to win as results and how we play do not effect Kean's position at all, but I'd still like to see in found to have got up to all sorts of dodgy stuff and sent down. Anyway, I would like to see if Vucenic is still with us. Not bothered about the result.
davulsukur Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 --------------------Kean Riberio----Hanley---Dann---Henley -------------Lowe------Jorge Simon---------Rochina------Nunes ----------------Goodwillie
Backroom Tom Posted August 28, 2012 Backroom Posted August 28, 2012 Could go either way depending on where Keans darts hit the selection board A win would be nice but most importantly I hope goodie, Simon and Ruben get some good time to get them match fit
