Vinjay Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 If Tyson disposes of Jake maybe he could move on to his sibling Logan. That would be the right financial thing to do but perhaps the WWE commitments would prevent it. It's clear who the fans in Dallas are supporting. Quote

Vinjay Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Tyson gets "too real" and talks of death "Too real" apparently. For not telling a fairy story? The truth hurts sometimes. Interview Mike Tyson and what you see is what you get. Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 16, 2024 Moderation Lead Posted November 16, 2024 Just stop making YouTubers relevant. Don’t fight them, feck them off. 3 Quote
Gav Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 Cracking main event last night between Zurdo and Chris Billam-Smith. If you have a DAZN subscription go and watch this fight, neither took a backwards step, brilliant stuff. Quote
Vinjay Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 (edited) I've only ever been to one boxing card. It was for the short lived Probellum at Sheffield Arena 2 years ago but violence for the sake of violence isn't the main draw for me. It's personality (Tyson in this case and he's always been somewhat of a freak show just an extremely funny one)) but the prices for top level boxing are crazy. Maybe that probellum one is still on YouTube and separate footage of a strange crowd incident they cut out which disrupted one of the preliminaries. It's not that uncommon at boxing events apparently for fighting to take place far more common than football in this country at least. Tyson said he almost died a few months ago too so it's no wonder he got tired. I did see some of the women's match after putting Netflix on and that impressed me. Just a shame women's wrestling bores me to death. Speaking of Netflix apparently they had issues but it only froze once for me once before Tyson's fight and then it was fine after that. Can't really comment on the pundits because it was treated as a celebrity deal. Ranallo I was familiar with from wrestling thought he was OK. Edited November 17, 2024 by Vinjay Quote

Gav Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Eubank v Benn - Brillaint fight, I didn't think they had it in them to be honest. Lets see that again please, both cemented a place in UK boxing history after that battle. Not sure I can sleep after that! Quote
Upside Down Posted Friday at 02:10 Posted Friday at 02:10 Usyk. Not much you can do against that relentless jab. Quote
MarkBRFC71 Posted Friday at 12:37 Posted Friday at 12:37 Dubois to throw absolutely everything at Usyk, and try to roughhouse him in the first 5 rounds. If he's not KO'd him by then Usyk wins easily. DD has a Puncher's chance but still expect Usyk to win. 1 Quote
Gav Posted Friday at 16:50 Posted Friday at 16:50 Nobody to touch Usyk right now, but you never know in this division. Looking forward to it. Quote

Usyk has just got way too much skill for someone to try and out box him. Quote
Hasta Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I find Dubois is a hard guy to like. He is just character-less. Not too fussed who wins tbh. Quote
Upside Down Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Usyk by KO it is. Skills beats power every time. 1 Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Usyk was terrific. 38 years old as well. Physically he 's a freak. One of the best of all time I'd say. Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago It's hard to put into words how good Usyk is but for me he stands alone with a prime Ali as technically the best HW's of all time. I'd argue Ali's era was a bit deeper at the top end than this one and he dominated twice two different versions of him but Usyk honed his own skills dominated arguably the best ever cruiser division. Said at the time though Dubois battering AJ showed more about Joshua and where he's at than actually telling us much we didn't already know about DD. The lad can bang and is all raw aggression but there is little else to him and he cannot handle a good punch. Usyk though a great in any era. Quote
Upside Down Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Usyk is the only one around today that would be able to compete in another era. He fights more like a middleweight or welterweight. It really is something to see. Enjoyed the bout an thought Dubois was starting to come into it until that 5th round. Usyk's counterpunches were unreal though. 1 Quote
