Is that based on this?:

@ITK_TRANSFER: Barry Bannan is a step closer to the Villa Park exit as Crystal Palace make loan move.”

That tweet was made 24 hours ago. Kamy and Makey etc have been very vocal this morning regarding his move to us so hopefully Villa want the cash and not the loan.

CP were interested in early June and there were strong rumours then - plus he has played under Holloway in the past. All a bit worrying.

Sounds like he has well and truly burnt his bridges with the Villa fans, so maybe it would be best for him to cut all ties and complete a transfer instead of returning at the end of the season.

So another ITK account strikes again and everyone believes it?

No reputable source has posted about Crystal Palace being in for Bannan.

More notably Alan Nixon reckoned this wasn't happening. I don't believe a word he says about Rovers anymore. Credibility shot.

Actually going to be really pleased with Bannan if we get him.

He's strong despite his size, decent with both feet, great at passing and likes to stick a foot in.

Seems to be a well rounded player.

doesn't a loan window open up for championship clubs open once the regular window closes ? maybe if Powell isnt getting any game time at Utd then maybe he would be an option then

Squad no's released , and no no. 3 should we read anything in that ?

I had the impression that he was an out and out lefty? Be great if he was comfortable with both. Christ, the amount of times I saw Jones go full circle before picking a pass was enough to last a while
