Proudtobeblue&white Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 They're joined at the hip, kick one- the other jumps ! Kick one, the other one limps......what have they got over GB.......pictures of him and Madame? Let's hope they confound us all and put in the performance of their lives, we win comfortably 3-1, Barnsley scoring a late consolation, but no worries. We all hail Wenkys as our new saviours, and we all agree on the message board how wrong we were......and I've only had a small libation so far this evening!

AdamRochina Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 That midfield is a @#/? joke..no pressence there at all ..willlowe are meant to be tough tackling defensive midfielders but all they do is avoid everything ..@#/? sake Barnsley will see that line up and gain so much confidence
davulsukur Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 against city who have physical players he didn't look out of place..but it doesn't matter anyway the team line up is a joke ..another loss may be on the cards For all of 5 mins in a game that was well and truly over. No pressure on him then. Think of adrenaline going through him when he walked onto the field against a team like Man City. Completely different situation tonight.

Jimmy612 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Lowe and Williamson both play - as do Cairney and Dunn. Taylor drops to the bench? Rhodes and Rudy up top..... Same defence as Derby RobboHenley Hanley Killa Spurr Cairney Will Lowe Dunn Rudy Gestede Surely Bowyer can't be expecting Dunn to play on the wing? How Williamson is in the team after Saturday I'll never know. Interesting
davulsukur Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 So do i tbh, but perhaps off the bench in a few league games to kick off with.
dingles staying down 4ever Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 According to Rovers website Martin Ollsson on bench tonight for Rovers http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/team-news-from-oakwell-1320257.aspx
davulsukur Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Anyone care to have a stab at a formation? Can't possibly be a 4-4-2 with Dunn and Cairney on the flanks.
AdamRochina Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 According to Rovers website Martin Ollsson on bench tonight for Rovers http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/team-news-from-oakwell-1320257.aspx so we did secretly sell the other twin
Backroom Tom Posted January 28, 2014 Backroom Posted January 28, 2014 Come on rovers no excuses lets go and get a win and keep us in touch
rovers11 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Is it 3 up top? Dunn can't be playing on the wing, surely?
AdamRochina Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 But if we win tom..bowyer has excuses to start Williamson and Lowe together..its a lose lose situation
Proudtobeblue&white Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 so we did secretly sell the other twin That's what I'd hoped, but silly Mr Shaw still thinks we have the lesser one!
Al Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Taylor on the bench and Williamson starting is nothing short of stupid.
sharpysharps Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 4312 system makes sense to me. There is no width in that midfield if its 442. Can't believe Taylor isn't starting. Willo is just not good enough. Taylor or Cairney in the middle would be far better.
Hekla Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 How can you play two good centre midfielders on the wing and two crap midfielders in the centre?!
Bucksrover Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Taylor on the bench and Williamson starting is nothing short of stupid. Everyone agrees. Except our manager and anyone who likes barnsley.
davulsukur Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Perhaps a 4-3-1-2 formation?? Must be something like. Bowyers been playing Champ Man.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 28, 2014 Author Moderation Lead Posted January 28, 2014 The most narrow midfield ever.
Rover_Shaun Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Williamson and Lowe-Bowyer in midfield again. Well I never expected that Go on Gary take the league by it's horns!!! :?
bazza Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I can see Wiilow being MOM tonight, just to spite us all.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 28, 2014 Author Moderation Lead Posted January 28, 2014 He'd have to get into the game first, not managed to do that yet.
Jimmy612 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 against city who have physical players he didn't look out of place..but it doesn't matter anyway the team line up is a joke ..another loss may be on the cards How long did he play for? All of 6 minutes? Very different starting a game as oppose to one that's already won and lost. I think playing him would have given Barnsley a psychological boost going into the game, plus if they'd clattered him in the first 5 minutes who knows how it would have affected him. Tonight is not the night to start experimenting with a young lad.
