G Somerset Rover
Can we please get that oaf Brown off and get Watt or somebody on. Lambert needs to realise the Brown experiment has been done to bloody death. Jackson ain't much cop either. Not a bad option to send on for 10 mins against weary defences but not a starter in a million years.

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted March 15, 2016 Moderation Lead Share Posted March 15, 2016 Can anyone at the game advise how the penalty decision was? No stream and not on Twitter so I can't comment..
Backroom DE. Posted March 15, 2016 Backroom Share Posted March 15, 2016 Nobody here knows what the penalty was for. An assumed push. Hanley wasn't happy.

Bucksrover
It seems that opposition teams just have to keep us at bay for a while and we will hand them an opportunity.

Still, we haven't won away since the start of December. If you'd listened to Steele pre-match you'd have thought we had a half decent away record! Stuart
Gomez and Watt on for Grimey and Jacko.Phew, thought we might bring off Brown for a minute.Every chance of a goal as long as he's in the field.
Tallrover
You could easily write the script for most of Rovers games beforehand. Play well for the first part of the game, Settle into a containing pattern of play, Come under increasing pressure, Concede, Huff and puff, Lose, Manager blames everything except himself and the players. Repeat one or two games later...
Backroom DE. Posted March 15, 2016 Backroom Share Posted March 15, 2016 Phew, thought we might bring off Brown for a minute. Every chance of a goal as long as he's in the field. To be fair, Brown has been more effective than Jackson. That really isn't saying much though.
G Somerset Rover
Just looked it up and we've score 13 goals in 17 away games this season. Potent. Going to take something extremely surprising to get an equaliser here. One off Brown's fat arse would do.
garnersfags
When we went a goal down to Derby and Burnley, we didn't have the ability to create a genuine chance, never mind a goal. Here we have deja vu. At least we haven't had to sacrifice our No.9 talisman in order to save the game. This is one scenario where Rhodes was able to salvage a point, we so need a goalscorer in the summer. (Before you start, no I don't think we should have kept him...) Come on, let's show we can score even when Browny is doing everything he can to prevent it (consciously or otherwise). 10 min to avoid looking over our shoulder at Rotherham n co. Please..... If you'd listened to Steele pre-match you'd have thought we had a half decent away record! Yeah It's not as bad as I thought but still not great. In the league since beating Bristol lost 1-0 to reading, lost 1-0 to Bolton, lost 1-0 to Cardiff, drew with boro/Charlton 1-1, lost 1-0 to derby, 1-0 to dingles and tonight. Excluding tonight in last 7 away games lost 1-0 5 times drawn 1-1 twice and if stays the same lost 6 1-0 and 2 draws.

G Somerset Rover
2-0 - at least it breaks the 1-0 run. Worrying thing is that Ipswich don't even sound like they've had to get out of first gear to beat us. Lambert's just put a lot of pressure on himself and the club for Brentford on Saturday with his selection tonight. Poor management IMO.
