Seems he's resigned from the training ground owning company and been appointed to Venkys London the club owning one.

He’s been added as a director of the club, not as a director of Venkys London - no idea why though! (You’re right that he’s resigned as a director of the company which owns the training ground)

Interesting.

Maybe it was his own money he invested in the training ground purchase.

When there is such a sort term appointment of a director, it is usually because there is a need to get a particular board resolution forced through by the majority shareholder.

Or perhaps there was a misunderstanding/ mess up and the wrong company secretarial paperwork was filed- it does happen you know.

Seems to happen a lot with these owners.

It really shouldn't it's a very simple procedure.

Anyone know anything about this company?

Venky's Overseas Limited

Set up earlier this year with an address in Jersey.

Interesting and well spotted.

Persons in control are Madame and her husband and Bala and no mention of other shareholders.

Looks like they have appointed an agent in Cheshire too.

Kevin joined ZEDRA March 2017 and has over 20 years of experience in compliance roles with experience leading functions, contributing to strategic objectives, delivering a pragmatic and commercial approach.

Me neither…

The Registration of Overseas Entities ruling brought in by the Government last year.

Any overseas entity that holds any property or land in the UK, or is planning to hold any property or land in the UK in the future, had to submit an application to Companies House before the deadline of 31st January,  confirming the beneficial owners of the entity.

Being from Jersey and working in Real Estate, we had to submit a shed load of the registrations, was a pain in the arse!

Going back to Rovers, is this the entity that bought the training ground? or was that another company?

Coming to think of it, don’t the Venky’s own a mansion in Cheshire? Gary Neville’s old gaff?
