You mean he'll develop more here than at Sunderland?

Van Hecke should come back to us... Knows the players, knows the place, so should slot back in easily.. If we are not all in for him to bring him back, then I don't know. Unless he feels that he wants to a different club, with a different challenge, then sure.

Guys guys, remember the good ol days when we enjoyed a good laugh? Okay maybe the newer younger board members are a bit more serious these days.

Plenty of you are going to be more upset once the window shuts, and we haven't signed anybody else, or brought in a couple of no name players. Then you can really get upset

How often has this club disappointed the fans, and many of you continue to hold onto hope that Venkys have changed? C'mon, if you're getting upset and annoyed at some light hearted fun, then boy I can't wait to see what some of you will be like once the window closes

Brereton will be sold on deadline day, with no replacement lined up. We will have to use Dack/Markanday as makeshift strikers, or use Vale or somebody else to try and get us goals. If you haven't seen this movie before, then maybe you should go back and have a look

I wonder if the owners are aware of how short we are player wise? As caring owners of a football club, surely they are asking Gregg and Steve a few questions through their man on the ground? I'd imagine Suhail Pasha is at least feeding back that their investment currently isn't strong enough to challenge at the level they might be expecting it to.

I've done business with major Indian companies in the past before and quite often their processes for spending money are excessive even when they have it to spend, it can take months. I fear even though our owners keep things ticking over, they may never operate at the level needed to be effective in a football transfer market. We're yet to see that.

The signs are there and I think in the past this has worked in our favour when it comes to outgoings but the reality is we are now at a stage where we also need to sell players more proactively and renew contracts quicker. Transfers with fees in and out seem a problem for Rovers, they take a lot of time.

If what I suspect is right I don't think we'll see the number of signings we need before the deadline. 2 or 3 in at best. Perhaps 1 permanent that's already been worked on. Ultimately I suspect again after this transfer window that the owner's will never be a good fit, not unless major changes are made to their processes.

Hope I'm proved wrong next week but the signs are there as others have mentioned that their business model doesn't fit owning a football club particularly one like ours that doesn't generate a lot of revenue.

Same owners who allowed players contracts to run down, and then allowed them to walk away, without us receiving any money for them?

Norwegian leftback Fredrik Bjørkan who was sold to Hertha Berlin from Bodø Glimt is being linked with a loan to Norwich.

Will be exciting to see if we will be linked as well due to Greggs Bodø Glimt history and having worked with Fredrik for two years.
