It "inbuilt" that we hate Burnley first and foremost. Then the "hate" of other clubs must start with Manure surely? 3 Quote
Mattyblue Posted August 25 Posted August 25 (edited) I’d say the po faced, ‘we are different’ mentality of LFC fans, plus just as many glory hunters (though they always seem to avoid the ‘they all come from London’ tag) has them just as high on my list as Man Utd. Backroom Tom Posted August 25 Backroom Posted August 25 Decent opening to the match between Newcastle and Liverpool, quite fiery. I really don’t like Liverpool but I like that their players have brought back long sleeves Quote
Backroom Tom Posted August 25 Backroom Posted August 25 (edited) Red card probably ruined the game, stupid tackle from Gordon and a deserved red. Shows how VAR and countless replays can change a view though Sutton on commentary said it wasn’t much of a foul, then he said definitely just a yellow card, then he decided a red was probably coming and then it was definitely a red! Hasta Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Stupid challenge. Would have liked that half to carry on for another 10 minutes there as that would have really boiled over. 1 Quote
roverandout Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Gordon had konate on toast too. What a brain dead tackle Quote
davulsukur Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Is it just me, or are Liverpool just not that good? 1 Quote

They’ll have loads of games where they won’t be great or even good but still win, it’s an annoying trait Burnley had last season as well Having said that 2-2, even if they win it’s 2 league games giving up leads too easily Edited August 25 by Tom Quote
davulsukur Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Well, that was the worst defensive line I've seen of a free kick. 2-2 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted August 25 Author Posted August 25 well done Newcastle. They deserved at least a point Quote

davulsukur Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Great finish from that Liverpool youngster. Liverpool have been wank, deserve nothing. Quote

I remember one time the maestro, Tugay got one of the most ridiculous red cards you could wish for, a stupid tackle followed by the most pointless of handballs, he got a standing ovation and I was livid. Think it was against Boro and we ended up losing 3 or 4 nil Edited August 25 by Tom 3 Quote

Think it was against Boro and we ended up losing 3 or 4 nil I was there. The handball was on or around the half way line mid way through the game. It was game over after that and we got battered. Dumb football. Like that Kevin Ball “ tackle “ on Dunny. Brain dead. Whatever chance the dingles had of getting something out of the game went with him. Quote

philipl Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Nguomah got poached by Liverpool from Chelsea academy which slightly lessens the pain of Chelsea taking a 13 year old from us for a million. Quote
chaddyrovers Posted August 26 Author Posted August 26 I do think that the ref should have stuck with original decision with that Gordon's tackle. When you slow it down, the tackle looks worst and worst. I think Gordon does try to pull out but his momentum takes into van Dijk . Quote

I’ve not seen the incident but I don’t think slow motion replays should ever be allowed. 2 1 Quote
