Mattyblue Posted July 8 Posted July 8 (edited) Good that there’s a Head of Women’s Football though overseeing things down there… only snag no women allowed in. Edited July 8 by Mattyblue 5 Quote

Tomphil2 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Their name must've been raised in Parliament more than any other club owners over the last 13 years it's no wonder they never show up over here. 1 Quote

Is there a go fund me or anything for this? When you think about how we gave contracts to Ben Gladwin specifically so he could use our treatment room.... 1 Quote
had.e.nuff Posted Sunday at 17:46 Posted Sunday at 17:46 I heard today that the women's team may be withdrawing from the league altogether as they are struggling to raise a team I believe the open trials didn't go to well rumour has it only 11 turned up ,and most teams have already begun pre-season mathces Quote

They've shown their true colours. 3 Quote
StHelensRover Posted Sunday at 19:28 Posted Sunday at 19:28 I think we'll eventually get enough players to field a team, because there will be enough people who simply want to play football. But I can't see us attracting any players with any serious ambition, women's football a much smaller world than men's football and our name will be the sh*t on everyone's shoe in that sport right now, we'll be tainted for years by this We're probably going to be cannon fodder in whatever lowly league we're playing in. 1 Quote

GHR Posted Tuesday at 19:26 Posted Tuesday at 19:26 Fixtures out today for the Women (hopefully we will complete them!). I don't have any social media but the news article on the Rovers website doesn't actually give a list, just a summary, and the Fixtures page just contains a TBC note. Since Rovers seemingly can't provide a list, I shall. All fixtures are 1400 on Sundays bar the League Cup ties v. Hudds (H) and Chorley (A, at Euxton Villa), and Chorley (H) in the League, which are midweek at 1945. https://fulltime.thefa.com/fixtures.html?selectedSeason=665134431&selectedFixtureGroupKey=1_682618707&selectedDateCode=all&selectedClub=763334555&selectedTeam=&selectedRelatedFixtureOption=3&selectedFixtureDateStatus=&selectedFixtureStatus=&previousSelectedFixtureGroupAgeGroup=&previousSelectedFixtureGroupKey=1_682618707&previousSelectedClub=&itemsPerPage=25 Quote
Bronzed A Donis Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Give this lot another 15 years and somebody those names will become familiar on the mens fixture list. Interesting that Doncaster Belles now play at Millmoor. A ground I thought was long turned into dust. Quote

You can walk up and peak through the gaps in the fencing and it's like a weird time warp, it looks like it is falling to bits, but I think it is still used frequently for local sports. Quote
