Guy N. Cognito Posted Saturday at 18:32 Posted Saturday at 18:32 The million dollar question will always remain: WHY do they hold onto us? It's honestly unfathomable. Most dodgy foreign owners have a short shelf-life, but incredibly Venky's have held the club longer than Uncle Jack. They don't attend matches, they're not invested in the club's fortunes, so what's the point? Even if we were a footnote in their monthly agenda, it doesn't make sense to keep an asset that constantly needs servicing and brings no financial benefit UNLESS it was being used for unscrupulous means. 8 Quote
damo100 Posted Saturday at 19:05 Posted Saturday at 19:05 Just imagine the celebrations when Venkys/Pasha/Rudy finally fuck off. Be absolutely amazing 3 Quote

davulsukur Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Didn't take long this season but it's back to being an absolute chore supporting this club. That's not what it's supposed to be like. We desperately need Venky's to sell, I'm totally fed up with this shit. The club needs a complete restart/rebuild under new ownership, one that actually has the best interests of the club at heart. Venky's Out! 6 Quote

The thing that really surprises me is how the fan base, often maligned, has stood up until today, despite being dragged through the mud for 14yrs. If we draw Man Utd or Liverpool in the FA cup, Ewood is sold out, look at our away support, almost 1500 to Charlton at the weekend, superb effort by the fans. Sadly this can’t go on forever in my eyes, we need change, ownership change and quickly or another generation is lost. 2 Quote
glen9mullan Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago We are getting into the realms where a fighting fund is gonna be required. A lot of things been bounced around last few weeks but without funds it gets difficult. In years gone by its been myself and a few others using our money but this is not sustainable. Protest are going to return. There's no doubt about it and we need to maximise every one of them with impact. We'd need a volunteer to lead any fund and we'd need to be a little more discreet on some of the things we want to do, as broadcasting on the net is like telling the burglars when we are out. 6 Quote
Popular Post RoverDom Posted 7 hours ago Popular Post Posted 7 hours ago I'm sure you'd get plenty of willing donors to chip in without announcing any plans. A simple promise that something is coming would have people put their hands in their pockets giving to a go fund me page or something similar. 13 Quote
Ghost7 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Absolutely, enough is enough! I think most people would rather pay into this than a season ticket!!! 1 Quote

Hi Glen, I am happy to put the feelers out for a fighting fund and understand the need for some discretion. Can you give post an idea of the amounts needed and what the general ideas are and I will start up a go fund me. I will also make a donation and start the ball rolling. 1 Quote

I've dropped you a DM to get further into this. We're on a relatively tight turnaround, but can make quick progress, hopefully. 1 Quote
