Swag was a piss poor CEO, however he was a canny fecker who’d been around the game a long time and knew how to manage ‘stakeholders’.

Look at the state of it now, Gest-hail don’t even have the basics. It ‘can’t can always get worse’ here.

If true that they are once again manipulating the minutes to provide a false impression / narrative then it really is time for the Forum to stop attending.

Funny how the word 'misinformation' seems to have been invented and used with regularity in the modern era yet usually it is the other way around - when the public read things that aren't true / accurate and are given a false impression of things. Here however we have gangsters holding the club hostage who are manipulating the information released to the public from the only channel that remains open.

It is all a waste of time. They don't want to communicate and are only doing this because they have to. If they can't even be trusted to release accurate minutes afterwards there's no point to anyone of this.

Best off just nobody turn up and write to the wider fanbase and Football League to explain why.

Well said.( Like button not working!)

Agreed…just let the club keep issuing minutes to cover their backsides but don’t attend the meetings…show it up for what it is

I’m behind on here and can’t work out - a recent FF took place however there has been no confirmation on this? (if the meeting happened)

The minutes are (apparently) being disputed again or this has not confirmed?

Regardless, their whole attitude against the fan base is a joke and completely disrespectful. From banning the LT to being just generally out of their depth - you just can’t defend this lot (owners / RG / Suhail) for their arrogance and lack of accountability.

A recent meeting happened on the 20th. We know this because certain people in attendance have commented on X.

We do not know the situation with the minutes. Any talk at the moment of them being disputed are hearsay.

I suspect because of the tone of the comments people who attended last time received regarding the minutes and the forum itself, people who attended this time are staying quiet.

I wonder how Suhail and Gestede are getting on in amending the minutes.

Minutegate 2 in full flow

Credibility through the window ,

I didn't attend but have seen a copy.

Absolutely horrendous the censoring, but also adding things completely untrue and talking about supporters who didn't attend and minuting it, despite it not being a wider forum discussion.

Rudy certainly not learning any lessons,

My question to him next time I engage is .

1. Is it normal practice to half the value of a player you're selling within 5 seconds of a phone call, whilst suggesting hes not playing cos we lose when he does.

😀

Comments on the above O2G?

Id say its clear that for some time the FF has been a vehicle for more harm than good even before the recent controversy about the minutes.

However now if minutes are also being regularly censored and/or doctored as a matter of course then everyone should simply refuse to attend and go public with the reason why.

You would think this is an ideal starting case for the new EFL legislator.

I may be wrong but I dont think there's any obligation on the Club to hold a "Fans Forum" as such, it's entirely at the Club's discretion.

They are however I think meant to be holding some other form of supporters meeting as prescribed by some guidelines or other but that slipped quietly by the wayside.

Perhaps someone more au fait with the regulations in this area could clarify?

I have never been to the fans forum but what is stopping somebody from recording and then placing that transcript through Copilot to produce the minutes?

Club would never allow that I dont suppose. Pretty sure it wouldn't even have been allowed in the Williams/Finn era when the subject matter was generally a lot less contentious but even then snippets of commercially sensitive information were divulged.

Cheers Wilsden. Are those EFL guidelines?

(I was under the impression that the FF existed before any guidance of this nature and 2 additional meetings of the sort prescribed above were meant to be being set up in Waggott’s time but it never actually happened)

So theoretically the Club could pare it down to just 2 FF's per year.

Either way can't see the bit where it says it's permissible for the Club to censor/embellish the minutes.
