Presumably the reason for Tronstad not starting is due to only being back from injury, any other reason then Ismael needs his head testing . Poor line up and no confidence we will get anything, I hope I'm proved wrong Toth must be terrible if he cant get a look in after Pears woeful form last few weeks Toth's agent will have a new club for him lined up by now. They must be absolutely furious. Quote

The fact he's up against Baker in midfield just rubs it in. However call me a crazy fool, but I don't think we will lose this. May even nick it. Indeed. Not to mention our major signing Dennis being rooted to the bench again despite Ismael banging on about him pre-match like he could be the second coming of Shearer. If he can make it to the summer with more red cards than goals it will be some achievement. Edited March 12 by G Somerset Rover 4 Quote

Nothing that we have seen from Toth so fare suggests he is any better than Pears. That's how far down the barrel we scraped during the summer. Think he has a good chance of breaking into the team and he knows it, and should be happy to stay and fight for his place. Earns more than in Hungary as well so I don't feel sorry for him. Quote

Exiled in Toronto Mk2 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 And what, 20-25 goals thrown in? Ishmael showing a lack of balls. 4 Quote

Angry_Pirate Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) What a truly transcendent and inspirational starting XI. Can't wait for the 90 minutes to begin. Edited March 12 by Angry_Pirate 2 Quote

Not convinced 3 at the back is the answer ,and I'm really disappointed In the 11 he has picked but let's not pretend results were good before Ismael came in.What was it 2 wins in the last 12 for Eustace, then won a couple under Lowe before being turned over by Swansea Quote

Don't like 5/3 at the back - but then again know little of how Stoke line up. Surprised Dennis not starting. Need to make sure it is 3 at the back - with both full backs pushed into midfield. As always fingers crossed. Quote
TheFinalCountdown Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Not thrilled by that starting 11. Could be a long night. (Hope i look a fool at full time) Quote

He left a starting job in Hungary to literally never get a sniff in England when the incumbent makes mistake after mistake after mistake. He'll be off in the summer. Quote

He looked scared in the games he has started, but fair enough he hasn't had much of an opportunity If Eustace was still here I don't believe he would have put him out of the team for Toth to come in , if Pears had made the same mistakes as he has done under Ismael and v Swansea Blame should be put at the feet of the person/people who decided to sign Toth. Backroom Tom Posted March 12 Backroom Posted March 12 Not the most inspiring team but fancy us to eke out an ugly win Quote
Forever Blue Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Is it 5-3-2, 3-4-3 or 3-5-2? Has a Rovers manager ever played regularly with a back 3? Will the change of formation herald a new golden age for BRFC? Or will we just be a bit shit and lose 1-0 after Pears chucks another in his net? So many questions….. Quote

Forever Blue Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) Despite the shitty owners I still had hope under both JDT and Eustace that we could achieve something. I have no faith whatsoever that VI will achieve anything. Anybody with me on that or do I just need to cheer the fuck up?! Edited March 12 by Forever Blue 9 Quote

ageoftherover Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Doubts about Toth being ready are understandable, but the questions about Pears suitability for the Championship have been well and truly answered at this point. 2 Quote
