Swansea look to be having a bit of a go in the transfer market so may be a bit of a dark horse. Stoke are always a weird team who underachieve although their business so far looks decent and under Robins maybe they will improve.

QPR will depend on their new manager but Poku and Mbengue look like good signings.

The article basically states we are unwilling to meet club's valuations or negotiate upwards from our low ball opinion of a player..which seems to be £1.5 million regardless of the player (pretty sure that was the rumoured amount offered for the Dutch guy who signed for Oxford).  Venkys are willing to back with funds (😂)...and we are likely to lose Tyjon yet probably for around or just above the mythical £1.5 million mark 🤔.

so the owners are willing to back Ismael with more money which is interesting part of all of Nixon's 3 Rovers related story which people are missing here. On the Pye and Gassama links I think both would be good signings and would add quality to this squad. Gassama would give us the quality we want wide and Pye is very highly rated centre back. I think we should push the boat out for both. I suggested Gassama a few weeks ago when Sheffield Wednesday owner problems started going more public about not paying the wages. On Tyjon, I think we should keep him and develop him here. He is very highly rated and someone I would want to keep him

Also Dolan being linked with clubs in Greece and Turkey plus Bristol City want to sign him.

Will the lad from Stockport be ready to go straight into the team ? If he isn’t, and we have £3 million to spend, it needs to be spent elsewhere in the team. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t O’Riordan come with a similar reputation?

He is very rated centre back and this is why you have scouting staff to scout players. 

We should be signings from League 1 and 2 players, they are some good quality players who can make the step up to championship. Over the years we haven't look enough at that level

He may well be rated but he isn’t worth 3million would be one of the top sales from league one ever….not to mention we won’t be paying that regardless
