Sadly, we seem to have made contact with a number of clubs regarding possible transfers only to make an offer way below valuation.

This lad is playing for the current Swedish Champions and is also a full international - being sceptical and recognising what has happened this window with the likes of Sagnan, Nade etc, would think this is yet another rabbit hole.

Think it's more like;y we sign Patrick Bauer or someone similar!

Rosler will be a lot cheaper than others linked. Also former England youth international so will qualify for a work permit.

2 and a half years left on Roslers contract, a full international, and actually seems to have a decent pedigree compared to the others we have signed.

All the above tells me that this won't happen.

Rösler is a solid central defender at Allsvenskan level. Reads the game well and decent on the ball. Not sure if he is good enough to start games in the Championship.  Underperforming Malmö FF paid about 1 million euros for him a year ago. He is a regular starter for them and is likely out of our price range anyway. They are not known to sell players on the cheap.

Difficult to say since Allsvenskan is a quite poor league when compared to the Championship. The intensity is lower and the players have more time on the ball. Maybe someone like Hyam would be a dominant force in Allsvenskan, who knows?

Rösler is definitely not a standout player like for example Ahmedhodzic was when he played in Allsvenskan. Rösler did win his previous club's (Mjällby AIF) player of the year award in 2023. Maybe he could adapt and be a good player for us. Malmö FF is a wealthy club and would probably want a big fee to sell him so I don't think it will happen.

Seems to be valued at E2m on Transfermarket.com.

Shouldn't be out of budget per se but if we start pissing about by lowballing the selling club like we seem to do with nearly everyone else of any value we'll probably get nowhere.

We're tyre kicking... total time wasters... and most links to more established players with values in the £2m+ region won't materialise until we have a new board and owners.

Seems like last year was a player in demand. But hasn't lived up to expectations at Utrecht...Still got 3 years left on his contract although that's a small valuation.

Looking on YouTube, seems very one footed (left) seems to like to take players on but wouldn't say he's rapid.

i imagine it'll be a loan.

edit - looks like he was injured for nearly 8months  hence the poor spell...Steer clear.
