Does anyone bother paying for LT? Every article I click on these days is unreadable because of their paywal.. apart from scrolling through our constant chat (no complaints, I love our forum!) any good /reputable pages to keep an eye on for Rovers news? Not that there will be news I bet

Try this https://www.removepaywall.com/search?url=<URL> then paste page url in to it and it’s should remove paywall

Of course he'll keep training with Rovers. He needs his pre-season just like the rest. He'll go when the transfer is done and dusted.

I know these are song lyrics, but the ability to run seems to be #1 on Ismael's priority list.

Song lyrics,? Not a clue what you're on about

Apparently we've been

Flying Gestede to see a man in Brussels,

Who's 6 ft 4 and full of muscles

Take it on trial and then tell them to cancel.  They'll offer you a dirt cheap price.  Rinse and repeat.  Has cost me less than a tenner in total for last 12 months!

Losing Brittain does mean that right flank would be toothless going forward, definitely need a right winger.

Yep, no Brittain and Hedges at RW.

The only thing the opposition LB will need is a deckchair.

As mentioned by Mercer.

Terrible.

Duru and Ryan to step up.

I personally liked the look of Duru, but seems he had bad luck with injuries last season?

Did not see much of Duru but did like what I saw.

Lot of revisionism about Brittain on here.

He isnt a flash in the pan, he is a stand out full back at this level.

Got to agree. Seems a good guy and has been a top player last season. Big shoes to fill. Hurts he’s going to a team who have been as rank average as we have been lately, would be better if he’d gone to a prem team or somewhere abroad. But guess that’s our level these days

I don't think it's revisionism to say at one point (I think under JDT?) both Brittain and Hyam completely caved under pressure and downed tools.

That said, Brittain is a big loss based on last season

I was told they weren’t in today as they fly out tomorrow

you`de have thought it would have been more benificial to arrange a friendly at home as the last one before the season starts

They didn't want to pay an "appearance" fee for someone to come over and play.

Instead used the takings of the Everton game to travel and stay in Holland, whilst commanding an appearance fee from our opposition to play there.

Everyone is backwards at this club.

We're not short of money, we just refuse to spend it.

Opposition wise, it's been as competitive a pre season as I can remember. It looks like we couldn't have had much better preparation.

Would have preferred to play Everton at a later date. Still a good competitive game but could of been tougher game a week or two later
