we have about half a first 11 that did not start at the beginning of last season- this is a massive shift. I predict results will pick up by September as the new players will take at least a month to get to speed.

i think we all know Travis leaving but what’s imperative is that we sign a player with Championship experience.

We need a RW and a proper number 9 up front.

We signed players from a relegated Belgian team…..the Belgian league is the equivalent of the Championship, with a steeper regression as you go down it, so if you’re getting relegated from it, you’re probably league 1 level at best.

Ditto signing Telalovic from the actual German 4th division, which is what, national league north level.

Weirdos on social media love this shit as players are unknown, but anyone with half a brain cell can see this is risky, and has rarely paid off for us (Tronstad the exception that stands out)

I said a while back throw enough shit and some will stick - well, I don’t think we’ve thrown enough shit, because this team looks utter dross.

We haven’t improved in any areas we actually need to. Hedges and DeNeve as starting wingers, would that even be up to Bolton’s level in League 1?

Based on today, how far off the new signings looked, the sheer lack of goals in the team and then flogging Trav, we're a very good bet for relegation.

To be honest, I'd seen enough today from both of them to know you can't have both of them in centre midfield all season if they're not both fully commited. If they're not 100% in it then they need fucking off ASAP and get someone in with more of a point to prove.

The full team have limitations going off today’s performance, but I’d much rather have our captain there who we know will be up for the fight instead of another cheap foreigner. Crazy wanting him replaced with a cheap untried geezer from abroad. And looking at what we had out today, I don’t trust these lot to bring anyone decent in.

I don't disagree. Like many though, they're obviously unsettled by the change in manager and behind the scenes goings on. Regardless of all that, you can only have players who are 100% playing, especially in CM.

He was brought in by Rudy from the scrap heap and now has 3 years still on his contract. Big Val will tow the party line a bit longer IMO.

Ismael gave little away as to whether Rovers were any closer to adding the right winger they clearly need and desire. He was quizzed on Koji Miyoshi but didn't offer much.

Staff , players, managers the exits this last 12 months is not about a few quid here and there.
