…probably come out at some point.

Equivocation is a wonderful thing.

Who will put it out though -so far the club has used up all the oxygen.

Yes, given we've lost more than half the team (especially given we've lost Brittain and Batth) and the new recruits are as yet untested in this team (and league in most cases).

But that is  mostly, or even entirely, of the club's own choosing, due to well discussed issues with contracts and budgets.

So if it is a path we have chosen, why should people get credit or labels of it being a success to finish lower than last season off the back of it?

Whatever Trav has done has REALLY pissed them off

How do you know this? Another non-judgement that is a judgement. You should be in PR 🙂

Swansea have put a bid in for that Lorient Striker according to Nixon

That story has now been removed as Nixon says there's a further update which he hasn't posted yet. Could be he's going to Qarabag who look like they are going to qualify for Champions League

Would anyone consider anything below 7th this season to be a success? If so, and in view of last season's finish, why?

🙂 You know how this one goes - transition, lots of changes to bed in, building for the future.....

It is lunacy on the face of it BUT we are where we are and if it were to take a couple of seasons to succeed and come to fruition then that wouldn't be unreasonable nor would it be for this year to be one of consolidation and improvement.

(I dont think that will happen for the avoidance of any doubt, I think the whole thing is completely bonkers and entirely cost driven)

The never ending journey ........whilst managers/head coaches, agents and Senior Executives pocket a small fortune.

Interesting that we made a point of adding this in the statement 😆

He now links up with his former Rovers team-mates Danny Batth, Andi Weimann, Owen Beck, Dion Sanderson and fellow Rovers Academy graduate Ryan Nyambe at Derby County, managed by ex-Rovers head coach John Eustace.

Travis is ‘welcome back at Ewood any time’ then?

Notice how it doesn't say that he's welcome back at Ewood any time like "Bucko" is.

Do you think he has a permanent ban from the ground? even when he is part of the visiting team? 😉

Greedy for not accepting a sub par contract here like everyone else? But a crap player moving to Saudi Arabia is emotional?

Depends how low tbh. Results are important but if we lose more than last season games it will also be about the manner in which the players perform which will also matter to me. The early and late goal are something that annoy me under VI.
