As Glen has posted, the situation at Rovers is far worse and far more perilous than even the "negative" posters are saying.

I am more worried and scared for our club now since John Williams left.

Are you able to elaborate? If not, how come?

Or perhaps I misunderstood your post? To me it suggests that you and Glen have information that hasn’t been disclosed (yet?).

Can’t help but feel like we’re just shooting the messenger by pointing the blame at RG. Sure he’s inexperienced, and rumours suggest that he isn’t the nicest guy, but if/when he gets axed then we’re still in the same scenario we have been since those bozos took over.

Edit: if you disagree, please tell me why you think I’m wrong 👍🏻

I'm not going to condemn him for at least engaging , feels very much like Suhail has tapped him in the shoulder and told him time to do your job human shield.

It is the climate created that has led to our manager (twice) and then a load of players wanting out after each Jan. The climate of no ambition, that's he's happy to feed into as he plays horse trading , like a Benin Del Boy trying to charge a mark up on some dodgy Belgian left backs he picked up on the cheap, genuine top flight experience, cushty darlin'*

It was always going to be the obvious response

we offered them contracts and increases they didn’t want to extend and wanted to move on

this is why small statements from players would be helpful because now we find ourselves in a ‘he said she said’ debate with no tangible evidence

so fans in the dark again as usual

I’m surprised Batty didn’t get another loan move.

Did pretty well at Accy last season and was expecting him to get another L2 move minimum.

I'd suggest the reason is they're still advertising this: https://jobs4football.com/job/loan-manager/

Tin pot – nobody in the role to push for moves, so we’re left with youngsters who are either too good or too old for the U21s and in need of men’s football experience, but they’ll be sat on the sidelines for the next four months.

You're not.

But he still needs shooting (metaphorically)

Wouldn't let any of the strikers he's signed do it though.

Not disagreeing my point is we have a lot of talk that they weren’t offered any increases at all

so for fans and clarity we don’t really know do we as fans believe the information for instance Glen is privy to or do we believe the club who have previous for telling fibs

It is reasonable to point out (as we all know) that all financial constraints lead to Pune so RG/Pasha/VI (and those on here) are always going to say they are just carrying out orders –to cut expenditure.

But surely the unholy triumverate have taken a more drastic decision to cut even further with no attempt to sell a different dream to the owners –one that could see the owners saving some face and exiting (ie promotion). It seems to me that a radical, arbitrary decision (do the owners know?) has been taken to keep wages under 10k and all the other stuff we know in the hope of what? Definitely, not promotion. League position is immaterial we have been told. Then what? One can only conclude it’s with the aim of treading water, maintaining Pasha’s control, massaging RG’s monstrous ego, maintaining agent fees and the whole merry go round of player trading. It would seem that promotion is not in Pasha’s/RG’s interest –I guess if it would lead to new owners then they know the party is over for them. Easier to keep their masters back in Pune in the dark and keep the gravy train flowing.

I don’t know where relegation would fit into their thinking. Not a problem the same circus can continue?

And then there is the court case. Do they know that things might be coming to a head so better make as much cash as they can while the party is still going?

As i said many times ....the owners are not in PUNE .....titleholder doesn't mean owners ...this is Mr Pasha's project ..previously he's behind the scenes and as pressure got more...he's been told to take a visible role......

the only way i could make sense of this bollywood drama running 15 years

Exactly this. It’s the same script every year. Wheel the selected puppet out to deflect all the anger and abuse for Pasha/Venkys agenda and once they’ve served their purpose get new puppets in with false talk of a new project. Same cycle, rinse and repeat.

Hunt/Anderson, Senior, Shaw, Waggott and Broughton have all played this role before. Gestede is the puppet for this cycle. Once he’s served his purposes it will probably be Owen who they wheel out for the next cycle or get a whole new set of puppets in.

We fall for it everytime and meanwhile Pasha continues to execute the Venkys agenda relatively unscathed

You’ve answered it yourself, “he’s not the nicest guy” absolutely Suhail and pasha are the problems but this fella is so far out his depth

I think there needs to be a distinction made between not believing what the club says, and not liking what they say.

Some of the rumours people believe because it suits their purpose are mad.

I think it’s easy for the influence of confirmation bias to trump everything else.

Being able to step back and consider everything on its merits is important but not always easy to do.

This only becomes more difficult when the subject is as emotive as the club we all support and want the best for.

Why is Gestede wasting his time responding to individual LinkedIn messages and not doing his job or fronting up to actual media/fan scrutiny? It smacks of pettiness and weakness, picking and choosing which catered question to respond to without any risk of repercussion or pressure.

Mate have a day off. You don’t sell your stalwart centre half at 7pm with nobody to replace him! We’ve 1 fit senior centre half he’s an absolute fucking idiot!

I’m yet to see anyone sound, sign an email off with ‘best’.
Always the arrogant goons in my experience.

Rudy Gestede proving my point nicely.

Don’t care if Rudy is “communicating” and “being honest” the facts are key players are walking away and the Hyam one on deadline day is a farce. My opinion will not change on him and I hope fans don’t start trusting him again over an interview which he’ll lie in as per (saying this will be an exciting summer)

On the Rudy replies.

key phrase- WITHIN THE CLUB WAGE STRUCTURE. The Pasha wage structure is such that ANY decent player at Rovers can double their wages at 50%+ of clubs in the Championship and not be the top wage earner where they transfer to.

Rudy's first language is not English so he either has a damned good ghost writer or he is far more articulate in written English than 90% of native English speaking footballers

Not sure how professional it is to tell strangers on LinkedIn that players wanted to leave, and got offered contracts but went for more money elsewhere.
