Doesn't look like Rovers are doing anything today. In which case, it's hard to not be concerned about the squad.

One injury to Tronstad as others have said and we're in a bit of trouble in the middle of the pitch.

Patrick Roberts to join Brum on loan from Sunderland. That's a proper winger and a clear signal of ambition.

As things stand, this is what we're looking like as squad depth. Rovers can name a 25-man squad with Tyjon and Michalski two that don't need to be registered. So they're at the limit.

I'm still falling on the side of that is a truly awful squad of players. I wouldn't even be confident of the majority of that squad being competitive in League One.

Yeah I don't even look at the parachute payment clubs, Birmingham, Wrexham, Boro or Coventry - they operate in a different world to us. They actually want to progresss.

Tried for Sam field, they wanted too much £££ apparently, now moved from a midfield target to a striker target but it’s unlikely to get done.
