RevidgeBlue Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago 6 hours ago, Mike Graham said: Exactly. Rovers run on an operations mode. They plan 2 or 3 games ahead depending on the match schedule. Every non playing side staff member has a role and they carry that role out game after game with the only variable being the number of home and / or away tickets sold and the reputation of the visiting fans. It is a silo based operation. There is no cross departmental or cross role thinking as to how we can do things better or do things differently as to make the event more attractive to attract new or lapsed supporters to Ewood. The approach is far too safe. It allows staff to relax into the same old ways of working every home game rather than instil the need for innovative thinking. The only time the club were challenged to ‘think outside of the box’ was the Fan Takeover days and even then some staff went into hiding and unhelpful mode. Some senior staff subsequently dissed the Fan Takeover days as being a waste of time as although we had significantly increased the attendance the ticket income was down due to ticket price cuts. They just don’t get it. It is all about the bottom line. They do not have the slightest clue how to increase attendances over time (only the fans can help them achieve that). Sorry I rephrase it as they don’t want to know. It's enough to make you weep. 1 Quote

To me, from a marketing point of view thats a margin of advertising gone going all digital. Because people who have season tickets often like to show them off a little in its case. Its a badge of honour, there's no fun in getting your phone out Edited 6 hours ago by ... 1 Quote

For now, you can transfer your ticket to friends/family in your ‘group’. But that can be switched off / made chargeable at any time. Edited 5 hours ago by Hasta Quote

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted 3 hours ago Moderation Lead Posted 3 hours ago Must admit, I managed to add mine to Apple wallet fairly easily, though I can't actually make the first game (Soz, @JBiz), so need to look at how to transfer it to whoever wants to take it in my place! Quote

I still have your card from the final game of last season I’m guessing that’s useless now? It’ll go in the plectrum maker at work. Re swapping - if you have your details aka DOB, ticket number and address, you just go up to the ticket office I think and ask for a paper version. This was the case when I was upgrading my dads senior ticket for my cousin (when my dad couldn’t come) Quote

Hasta Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) https://www.rovers.co.uk/tickets/the-season-ticket-zone/help-and-how-to-guides/ It remains to get seen whether "screenshots" of the digital season ticket will work. It says not on here. Edited 2 hours ago by Hasta Quote

The nostalgia, the memories, the little hand me downs, the importance of small trinkets and keepsakes being lost to the digital era. Mementos as such are to me, the part of the fabric of the game. As important as the viewing in my book. Nothing better then having tickets in hand or a season ticket of pride 1 Quote
