The gym and the programmes looked very impressive, but how come we always seem to have loads of soft tissue injuries ?

Still no news on who we are playing on the weekend of 2nd August? Only 4 friendlies announced to date with no clarity as to the opponents in our two Spanish matches. 

Waggo was claiming he'd been arranging showpiece fixtures against sides in commemoration of the 150th anniversary so I'm intrigued as to who they have lined up here.

Decent little ground that. I was there a few years ago and it still had a classic mid-terrace wall for pissing behind at one end.

Rovers have announced ticket prices for the pre season match with Everton. Under 12 non season ticket holders are being charged £8 which I think is ridiculous. A nominal £1 or even free would surely be the way forward to potentially attract the next generation. 

Extremely poor but unsurprising for a hugely out of touch regime.

Probably be like last season, where they were organising Friday/Saturday games through out pre season, and forgot to arrange one on the Saturday before the start of the season.

I'm not really sure why we aren't playing a match on 5th July either considering they will have been training for two solid weeks before that?

Unless they are doing something behind closed doors maybe.

It will look well for those who have already booked travel and lodgings, if the 2 fixtures in Spain are cancelled.

Surely the opposition must be know by now, as it is less than 4 weeks away.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rovers didn't know what was happening tomorrow.

There's absolutely shit loads of teams in Spain, shouldn't be an issue finding opposition although the standard won't be great I don't think.

Real Murcia and Cartagena would be the obvious choices.....

Southend are playing Cardiff and St Mirren are playing MK Dons at the same stadium so there’s no guarantee our matches will be against Spanish teams.

I'm down there visiting family on the 24th July so il be down to the pinatar arena on the Friday, would be better to play a proper Spanish team not some dogshit match against uk opponents.

Dies anyone know if you can drink beer whilst watching the game? That would be good, it's going to be one big piss up on that Friday game.

There will probably be more using it but these are the clubs featured on their 2025 poster

You normally can't drink beer in Spanish football stadia, in view of the pitch.

Scored a few goals on the training vid in day two.

Only person I haven't seen on anything so far is Forshaw.

Is this the only U21 fixture that has been released (and we haven’t even released it). I normally enjoy a trip to a local non league ground mid July to watch them (Clitheroe 2023, Macclesfield 2024)
