Riberio twice the player Pickering is for me.

Cantwell will do another season, full pre season and hitting the ground running next season, he will have an eye on a move next summer I imagine.

Funny game innit, I see Pickering & Ribeiro as being of fairly equal ability

So far we have:

  • Gilsenen released
  • Bloxham released

Who I would release

  • Hedges (contributed nothing)
  • Forshaw

Pears sold

Pickering sold

Can't well Sold

Didn't realise we'd let Bloxham go as well. 20 years old, never really kicked on, probably the correct decision

Either way, we shouldnt sell Pickering. Need them both.

I'd agree with that. While I much prefer Riberio, the squad needs Pickering too for me.

Actually look good in that left back department for once with Powell coming through who I really like the look of.

The odd one out is probably Jake Batty, not sure he kicks on here wouldn't overly surprise me if was released this summer.

None have been announced by the club yet (but we shouldn't be surprised about that), Bloxham posted on his instagram

He has also been injured for the past 6 months

Don't get it why people want to sell Pickering. We need 2 left backs in the squad.

I’m not his biggest fan but I wouldn’t sell him  unless somebody came in with a really good offer. Unlikely I know. I don’t think there’s much between him and Ribeiro in terms of ability but I still think Pickering is handy as a stand in left sided centre half in a back five.

They’ll probably sell Pickering and promote Batty. And before someone says is he ready / good enough, they don’t give a shit. It cuts costs and hits their targets.

As Rudy said, exciting times.

you want 2 players for each players. Pickering and Ribeiro are both similar quality

if we sold Pickering we’d end up with some lad who’s 5x worse

Luton Town just released theirs after they couldn’t agree a new contract, former captain, pivotal in their promotion to the premier league (and subsequent relegations back to back), Jamaican international

Could be worth a shout!
