RevidgeBlue Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The **** might hit the fan if/when we lose this one surely even the owners and management might sit up and take notice that we're rooted pointless to the bottom of the table after 3 games and just been beaten by a team under embargo. Quote

It might, but I bet it won't. 2 Quote
... Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Big chance to change the narrative (atleast the one on the pitch) this weekend and start some momentumn. Same XI to start in Hull. Rovers 1-0 Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Not that I am endorsing backing against the team but if you were a neutral gambler looking for value it's been a licence to print money backing us to lose recently. West Brom weren't far shy of evens, God knows what price Bradford were, Birmingham 13/10, Hull 11/10. Quote

Both Hull and Sheffield Wednesday are now under a "fee restriction" rather than a full embargo, Pretty sure "fee restrictions" only impact transfer/compensation/loan fees, not what wages they can offer https://www.efl.com/governance/embargoes/ Quote

Wont make a ripple back at Pune Towers..they dont give a shyte. 1 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Much as it was a horror last ten minutes against Birmingham I think we should select the same side. It looked defensively solid until the subs. Not much going forward but I can't really see what changes in the XI we would make to address that. One small adjustment I would make is to swap Kargbo and Ohashi round from time to time. Let Kargbo sit on the last man and roam around. I guess the downside is the ball could not stick, even more so than with Ohashi, but I would like to see the speed demon free to run through the middle. Rotating Ohashi and Kargbo frequently in the game could be quite effective in unsettling the defenders and making them unsure whether to push up (to compress Ohashi) or drop deep (to prevent the ball over the top to Kargbo). 1 Quote

They’d just cut back on expenditure. They’re way past caring now, if they ever cared in the first place. We’re just a broken toy. 1 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 57 minutes ago Posted 57 minutes ago If we ever had a head coach who was good at subs and game management it would gain another 5-10 points per season. Always get the impression that getting players on the pitch to gain mins and increase in value sometimes trumps common sense reactions to what's actually going on out there and occasionally its bitten us on the arse. Eustace seemed to do ok with that in the first half of last season. Quote

He was the best one i can recall in recent times although i think JDT did ok at first. Thing is with Eustace he wasn't listening to the club rhetoric he was only really bothered about results, hence why they wanted rid. 2 Quote
